THE RULES------------------------

1) The winner of the last round becomes the moderator of the round, and thus gets to choose the property or story in question to be adapted. Winner may also declare whether this property is an animated film, or a live-action one. He must also name the core characters to be cast, which should be at least 4, but no more than 9.

2) You may not use actors who have played the role before in the same medium before. Voice talents may not reprise their role, nor can film ones.

3) After ten days, the round is declared closed. People will vote via PM and send it to the moderator, who will count the votes and declare winner. Like the Ultimatization Game, you CANNOT vote for yourself.

4) The winner declared gets to choose the property in the next round.

Oh **** me. I was thinking about throwing this up if I'd have taken the last one since I've been re-working my way through the gigantic DD library I've accumulated.

Expect an entry.

Here we go

Daredevil: The Man Without Fear

Matt Murdock, AKA Daredevil – Michael Weatherly – I think this guy has the right look to pull off the character but is a good actor who in the dark role of Daredevil could be pretty damn cool. He's been in a few thing but still somewhat unknown which I like for a main superhero character.

Foggy Nelson – Kevin Smith – He seems right for a sidekick type role that could play well with my Matt Murdock , He also wrote Daredevil for a while so Imagine having him involved somehow he might help it stay true to the comics.

Karen Page – Michelle Williams – I really like this actress and Karen Page's drug addition would be handled very well by her. I think she looks right for the part and so I picked her.

Ben Urich – Terry Kinney – This actor seems to be the type who could blend in but also dig for the truth like Ben Urich needs to be. I really like this pick and think it just works.

Wilson Fisk, AKA The Kingpin – Daniel Benzali – Been watching him on a few thing and was thinking "Oh my god he looks like kingpin" he also plays characters similar to kingpin wich makes think he was made to play kingpin.

Bullseye – Vin Diesel – Bullseye is a great assassin , Now the problem with Vin Diesel is he's built like kingpin and it could clash but overall I think Vin Diesel everything about him even his voice makes him great for an assassin.

Elektra Natchios – Carrie-Anne Moss – I looked a few actresses as I wanted Elektra in it as she important. The key to finding someone for Elektra was to find an actress who can have that killer look in her eyes like Carrie-Anne Moss can do. She is also a strong actress that I think could be great as Elektra

You know I like Kevin Smith as Foggy. It shouldn't work but the reason you put him in there is a great reason.

Mole, I rarely comment on your casts....but your Foggy and Urich are great.

I'm working on my cast now. I don't wanna re-use the same people I used for the Marvel Knights round since this is an entirely different beast. We're moving from someone who could play him as a side/ensemble character...to someone who needs to be able to command the lead role.

I'm approaching this way as well. I believe I'm going to keep just one of the people I used before.

Daredevil, the Man Without Fear

Matt Murdock, AKA Daredevil: Casey Affleck
CTC-2449-image4.jpg

Hm; this might seem a bit of a cop-out given that his brother played the exact same character in the actual movie. But if you look at Affleck's body of work, he's really a fantastic actor in the more serious roles that are given to him. Affleck has a maturity to him and brings everything he can to his roles. He's also got that good ole Irish Catholic boy thing going for him that makes me think that he's the right brother to play Daredevil.

Foggy Nelson: Patton Oswalt
pl_screenreviews_f.jpg

I'd like to think that Nelson is really the comedy of the movie. While Favreau played him to a tee in Daredevil but I don't want to keep anyone from the previous film. I think if Oswalt plays down his more exaggerated brand of humor and takes what he did in Ratatouille to play Foggy right. I think he would also keep Affleck balanced and bring a light hearted tone to the role. I might change this one.

Karen Page: Brittany Murphy
brittany-murphy-newjpg2.jpg

In the comics Karen Page had her whole drug addicted porn star phase. In the film I would have her fall on hard times needing drugs and eventually selling Matt Murdock's identity to the tabloids. I think that Brittany Murphy has not only the right look, but the right attitude to play the former nice secretary turned addict in Murdock's life.

Ben Urich: Colm Meaney
220px-Colm_Meaney_in_2007.jpg

Ben Urich is a very important character to Matt Murdock; he's his confidant and one of the few people who know who he really is. While he doesn't really look like him that much, Colm Meaney's got the family man attitude down that one would need in order to play Ben Urich.

Wilson Fisk, AKA The Kingpin: Vincent D'Onofrio
tn2_vincent_donofrio_1.jpg

The Kingpin is a very, very scary man. From everything I've seen D'Onofrio in (see Law and Order) the man's just a big scary mother****er. Wilson Fisk knows Matt Murdock's secret and now that he's out of prison he's going to do everything in his power to destroy Daredevil's life before he finally kills him.

Bullseye: Jason Statham
statham-deathrace-fl.jpg

This is the one I'm keeping from the Marvel Knights round. This kind of Bullseye needs to be completely calm while he's working, but completely go ballistic when Murdock makes him miss. Statham brings calm to all of his roles, but they're characters that have a craziness and a coolness to them. I'd like to see Statham step away from his hero roles that he's been in and show off his insane Transporter like skills.

Elektra Natchios: Jennifer Esposito
jennifer-esposito-picture-1.jpg

In this one Elektra would be much darker than in the original. She'd be detached, cold, and ready and willing to rip out Daredevil's throat due to brainwashing from the HAND. But she still has that girl on the inside that fell in love with Matt Murdock years ago and needs to show the gentleness that she has. Jennifer Esposito is very good at playing tough characters, if you don't believe me just watch Crash. I wish I could have gotten a Greek actress but for the life of me I couldn't think of any that do justice.

The Owl: Timothy Spall
sweeney-todd-int-1.jpg

I imagine that the Owl would be very, very similar to what a Chris Nolan version of the Penguin would be like. Essentially the Owl would be a British gang leader coming to America to stake a claim against the Kingpin. Spall has a slimy look and feel to him that would make him a menacing Owl, but a feral character do to his mutant nature.

Stick: David Carradine
Carradine.jpg

I think this would really be a great throw-back to fans to have him train Murdock as a kid. He'd essentially be in flashbacks, but he'll be important in the development of the character.

"Battlin' Jack" Murdock: Tom Sizemore
258-sizemore.standalone.prod_affiliate.25.jpg

You don't need Jack Murdock for much of the film, but he's still the most important person in the development of the character of Daredevil. I originally thought of Mickey Rourke for this but looked at a picture of him and nixed it. I think that Sizemore has the grit to play Jack Murdock and teach Matt the ropes of boxing before his death.

Sammy Silke: Zachary Quinto
sylar.jpg

Silke is taking the role of Fisk's right hand in the film and is tired of sitting in the Kingpin of Crime's shadow. He's basically a weasel, but he's got a sinister criminal mind and is a genius at manipulating people. Zachary Quinto would essentially be a kiss *** to Fisk the entire movie until he stabs him in the back and takes over the entire criminal empire. It would really be like the evolution of Gabriel Gray to Sylar in Heroes.

Vanessa Fisk: Kathrine Narducci
charmaine_bucco.jpg

Almost as manipulative and secretive as her husband, Vanessa Fisk has to be the big bad at the end of the film after it's revealed that Silke, Murdock and even her own husband in order to stop her husband from being the Kingpin anymore. Kathrine Narducci has the cajones necessary to play a character like Fisk, as evidenced by her role on the Sopranos.

Mole's cast seems to work. I mean, the actors seem like they could play the characters, but together I'm not so sure.

Still, it's a good cast.

Mole, your cast is very good, maybe your best yet. Carrie Anne Moss is too old, but other than that everybody works so well. Vin Diesel would make a pretty interesting Bullseye all right.

Also, I'm imagining this as a TV series.

Ben Foster should play Bullseye.

This is pretty much perfect and I can't see anybody ever complaining about it if they used him.
