It was either sheer brilliance or stoner after thought that caused George Reinblatt, Frank Cipolla, Melissa Morris, and Christopher Bond to turn Sam Raimi's cult masterpiece Evil Dead into a Beach Blanket Bingo-meets-Rocky Horror Picture Show Off-Broadway musical revue. Of course they knew damn well that they'd have a built in cult audience, that's for sure.

Watching a musical is one thing, but sitting at home and listening to the Original Cast Recording is another entirely. Especially if you weren't fortunate enough to catch the show during its New York run.
