Did Batman die in Infinite Crisis?

I read on IGN awhile ago when comic was first out that all the signs pointed to Batman been killed off forever.

THIS is it Doc. THIS is the reason why I still get PM's on the Superman Homepage asking if I know where you are.

We have NOT outgrown you.

Superman, Batman, & Wonder Woman?

Wonder Woman is considered one of the big three?

No wonder I don't read DC.

Why do you think she wouldn't be?

I thought Green Lantern was more popular and more important.
I'd put The Flash in there myself.

Never could get why people keep saying Wonder Woman is one of DCs big three. Hell, her monthly is a hard sell on its own.

She's the oldest big DC heroine. It has nothing to do with popularity. She's a classic.

Yeah, but the other two represent character archtypes in comics. They're the prototypical examples of the larger than life hero who can handle anything and the grim urban avenger who might never come back (the ideas of them that is. They haven't been written that way in a while...). Wonder Woman is jsut a female superman in that respect.
