The issue starts off with the Brotherhood of Evil dropping Chemo over Bluudhaven and causing a lot of damage as well as killing a large number of people.
Powergirl is strapped onto Alexander's machine where he explains his plans on bringing back Earth-2. Basically he is the one behind all 4 of the pre-crisis mini-series in which we needed to power his machine using magic and s was able to use Psycho-Pirate on the Spectre since he no long had a host (DOV). Alex made the Brother I satellite a sentient being in able to control the machine (OMAC). He needed particular people with a gene from their "original" world so under a holographic disguise as Lex Luther created and tricked the Society into to capturing those heroes for him to strap into the machine (VU) and he needed to make room for the center of the universe so he started a war between planets, with the help of Superboy, to do so (RTW). The four mini-series is tied up really well in only a page and better than I could make it sound here.
Batman is seen talking to Nightwing asking for Dick's help. Before Dick leaves for Titan's Tower Bruce asks Dick if his childhood was good and was told that it was.
At the Gotham City morgue the new Spectre ends up in the corpse of the cop the Jim Corrigan shot so he now has a new host.
Superboy Prime goes to the Kent's farm to talk to Superboy, but SBP gets mad and they start fighting all across the country and end up in Keystone city. SBP has Conner beat, but Conner reveals his Titan's communicator and all of the Titans show up as well as the Doom Patrol and JSA. SBP backhands Pantha knocking her head off. The others start to attack and he blasts a hole threw Wildebeest, rips the arms off of a character and tears another one in two; I recognize the characters but can't place a name to them. Wally then shows up with Bart and Jay and grabs SBP and pushes him to the Speed Force. Jay has to quit because he can't run fast enough. When they hit the Speed Force Wally disappears and ends up, while in fuzzy Speed Force form, with Linda saying that he has too go, she says she loves. She says he won't go without her and gives him a kiss while holding their twins and they all disappear. SBP and Bart are fighting it out when Barry appears out of the Speed Force along with Max and Johnny Quick and they ALL disappear into the Speed Force. Wildcat asks Jay if everything is okay and he says "The Speed Force is dead".
With the help of the Psycho-Pirate Alex gets Black Adam to say "Shazam" which causes his machine to start which he uses to start separating the universes which he does. Once this happens all of the people who were on Earth-2 originally disappear and end up on Earth-2. End of issue.

This was so great. It made perfect sense why and how Alex is controling the villains, the Omacs, the Spectre, and how he caused the rift in space. But I still wonder about the dead thing from Teen Titans.
How's that Doc Comic. Is that the Superboy you want. That was creepy.
The Flash moments had me in awe. That was awesome moment. I loved Barry showing up. Flash's family going with him was brilliant. This is the most brillant comic I've ever read. I want MORE. MORE!

mine was totally better than that one. it was pretty much page by page, panel by panel.
but yeah, the issue ruled. superboy part was the best. and, if you look deeper, this issue shows a lot of important things about comics today.
superboy's downfall shows just how much the heroes in today's world still are heroes. it takes even more strength to be consistently good in a world that is so screwed up, its easy to be a hero in a world where good guys always win and get the girl. in a world that is more complicated, sometimes it can overwhelm heroes, yet they always make the right choice in the end.
and IC has really been showing how important Dick Grayson is. and for this reason, a reason that many people do not see often. Dick Grayson is the ideal version of Batman. seriously. he might not be as good at fighting, or as good of a detective, but he is a better hero, and batman knows this. Nightwing focuses on doing the right thing, and trusts other heros, as Batman did back in the day when he wasn't a douche. That's why he is important.

Earth-2 is back. God, I loved this issue, except for Superboy Prime being trapped in the Speed Force. If Conner hadn't of been a ****ing whiny emo prequel-Anakin-bastard, then SBP wouldn't have had to resort to that.

I dont think Jay Garrick used the speed force, that is why he wasnt fast as the other ones.
