Can't wait for this. One of the best games within the past couple years. So simple, but you never get tired of killing zombies.

More Extended videos.

Note: One of the new specials is called a charger unlike the tank when he catches you he doesn't slam his fists into you. He picks you up and slams you into the ground. And he comes in really fast hence the name Charger.

Ok, I just got done reading an article about "Left 4 Dead 2" Mostly they talked about the stuff we already know. But I did find out a few things.

One, at the last stand. Your not going to be just standing around, your going to be running. At the end your going to where the military is holding up and sending survivers on boats to ride out the infection. To get to the boats. You need to take a bus to the harbor. But by the time you get to the military outpost the buses will be broken down from damage. So instead you have to cross a bridge to get there that is filled with the infected. And as you're making your run the Air Force is bombing the bridge behind you (this won't be the only time their doing that too). The developers are calling it the "Gauntlet."

Faliszek: "It's also part of the expanding director 2.0- we've given level designers the ability to change up how the director itself works. we had the ideal of the gauntlet with Left 4 Dead, But we didn't have the tech and the director to handle it- we didn't have a lot of the underlying system path to tbe able to pull that off. And now we Do" Agauntlet is like the end of any of the L4D's original campaigns. but instead of defending a hot a zone, you're constantyly in motion.

"You have to start at one end of the bridge and get off the other end." Explains Faliszek. "It's similar to how we trained you at eh bus station- you have to keep moving. If You Don't you'r dead. You're constantly on the edge - when the Tanks come, when the Charger comes, any of those things can knock you off and send you sailing. "Sure enough, after hundred feet of protective guard rails on the side of the bridge, there are no walls to protect you from rampaging tanks. One punch sends you flying hundreds of feet out into the water to your death with a car flying after you for good measure. The bridge itself is a labyrinth of possible pathways.

You can choose to risk it on the broken, crater-riddled asphalt (and lure zombies into falling through it's many holes) or scramble on top of the trucks, jumping between abandonded vehicles. Infected mostly attack from both directions, but the military has your back, sorta. For one your'll find some of their mounted machine guns along the way that "can shoot guys in half- it evil." Says Faliszek with no small hint of glee. Also they will be bombing the bridge behind you (like I said earlier). Bill, Francis, Louis and Zoey may not be in this game but there (as the article suggest) an Ode to them in this game. And no we do not find out the "Whos and Whys" that causes this infection in this game.

They did give a little hint to help you in the Crypt. That part of the game changes everytime you play it. But the developers stated that you should look for some visual Cues on the edges and in the sky to try to pick your way through. Faliszek: "I tend to look for the center point; from there you can see a gate, and navigate the way." He Says. "There are times when it's a straight shot from gate to gate, and you're so relieved! Other times it;s a twisting; turning path. We dont, do the ugly maze thing of making you backtrack- that's not fun. But some of the layouts are definitely hard to get out of."

The Survivors:

Coach
Bio: You thought your gym teacher was tough? Try this ex-defensive lineman, whose athletic career was sidelined in college by a nasty knee injury. Ironically, he's a health teacher pushing 40 years old, but he's gone to seed since his collegiate glory days. The Zombie apocalypse makes him wish he'd watched his own fitness more closely. Falixaek says Coach has "a great hatred for a few of the zombies - witch in particular, "but naturally, he wouldn't explain why.

Rochelle
Bio: A 26-year-old producer for a cable news network, Rochelle had been trying to get her career together when the Atlanta Outbreak gave her a shot. Assigned to Savannah to cover an evacuation center, she finds herself stranded in the chaos, but she's not the type of person to lay down and die. She grabs a gun and bans together with what's left of society.

Ellis
Bio: Most People would be scared witless by the zombie outbreak. Not Ellis- he's 21, indestructible, and living a charmed life, so there was no way he was getting infected. The Savannah native repects his momma, loves his job as a mechanic in a garage and enjoys the simple pleasures of Miller High Life. It's enthusiastic and a little cocky; it remains to be seen if the end of the world will show him fear for the first time.

Nick
Bio: Georgia was just another stop on this thirtysomthing drifter's journey, but it was certainly better than his time in the joint. Sensing some easy money on riverboat casinos, Nick reeled in as many fish as he could at the poker tables. But since there's always another con a little farther down the road, he didn't expect the spend the rest of his life in Savannah. Then again, in the zombie apocalypse, how long will that really be?

New video. There's nothing really new about it. But you get a clear picture of what happens to the zombies when the pipebomb goes off in L4D 2. Instead of there be blast of red mist. You see a blast and some of the zombies flying off like ragdolls.

They haven't shown the new map yet but, They did show part of one of the new Left 4 Dead downloadable maps coming soon. And the new Left 4 Dead 2 map will be in Amusement Park. Will probably be able to post these tomorrow.

New Left 4 Dead 2 Weapons:

Baseball bat
Katana Sword

Ok, so the new maps Left 4 Dead will cost a small amount for 360 nothing for the PC version. The Map they showed was "Crash Course". Takes place after the No Mercy. The Helicopter pilot becomes a zombie and you crash and you have to find a new ride out of there.
