Remember that this is not set in stone. The website responsable for this list (http://www.marvunapp.com/master/earthteaz.htm) has made a few mistakes in the past. It's not fully official. With the producer saying that for him it was all canon, maybe it's worth to watch everything. It doesn't mean it's all correct, because maybe they didn't even care about that in that time. It was only in 2014 with the new Star Wars canon that in Disney they started hiring people responsable to maintain the franchises' canons correct.

The Fantastic Four appear in The Incredible Hulk and are familiar with him from the prior episode.
The website isn't fully responsible for the list though. It is established in the guidebooks, and generally those comply with that list because it is partially official. I trust it more than the X-Men '97 creatives to be honest.
