Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 2)

It can't be pre-Infinity war.
Agreed, Marvel are running into continuity issues now, they can't even agree on Old Cap either it seems.
The only way it will now work is to separate the films from AoS either post Endgame or after AoS screwed with time themselves placing them in their own branch reality. Otherwise it will be a fiddle to have them work in the same universe now that it seems they will clash.

how should that look in the timeline?

Pahaps we should wait till theres indisputable evidence that it's (yet another) another universe that split off of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5/Avengers: Infinity War, even though it probably is. Just say that every Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D character lived and every Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, Inhumans, The Punisher, Runaways and Cloak & Dagger character died, to balance it out. I'm sure after a year the team would have relaxed, especially when everyone they knew lived, and the world hadn't fallen apart yet, like in Avengers: Endgame, and they were more busy with whatever is going on in Season 6.

I'd mark it as an alternative timeline to be honest, but I'm open to create my own head canon.

Yeah wait for some concrete evidence, but it's likely it's own timeline whether they explain it that way or not. Perhaps mark it as 'AoS branch reality' should it go that way? As it could have been created from season 5 or from IW/EG

I got to thinking about Agents of SHIELD (incoming Endgame spoilers):
So what if when the Agents undid the future timeline with Kasius, which involved the Earth being destroyed by Graviton before Thanos could finish his duty, that created a branch in which Season 6 takes place? Possibly the snap never happened in this branch?

I'm just going by the rules Endgame set up for time travel.

So we place it in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 6x?? (Branch Reality).

When they broke the loop so the world was never destroyed, that allowed the snap to happen as it did in IW. This would mean the new branch created is the one we see in IW/ EG

It is very likely a yes, but is it confirmed the Hulu animated shows will be set outside of the MCU?

It can't be pre-Infinity war.
I don't really see why it HAS to address the movie. It has been a year since the snap, and the agents will be so busy with other-Coulson that I doubt they would still be sitting around bummed out about the snap. As Cap said, "Some people move on." The agents have likely just moved on.
Also, someone mentioned in an earlier post that the trailer implies Sarge is from another Earth? All he said was that he's been to other worlds, which I took to mean as planets rather than universes.

OK saw Endgame again. Two things that popped out to me. 1. When does the Shawarma scene take place exactly? 2. Why does 2012 Cap have a brand new suit on AFTER the Battle of NY, where it was clearly damaged?

On my second watch, I noticed that when Pierce stops Thor and Tony with Loki, he asks them where they're going, and Thor says "Lunch and then Asgard." So the shawarma scene was about to happen then. Regarding Cap's suit... I guess he just had another one that he changed into real quick.

I just watched the shawarma scene. Cap's suit is battle damaged. I guess the only explanation is that he helped some civilians on his way to lunch and had to get dirty again. We know that he gets another replacement after the film to shoot the Homecoming TV scenes.

Or what if the Cap that future Cap fights was actually Loki trying to throw him off...

But wait, those aren't the rules.....they wouldn't create a branch reality, only removing an Infinity Stone creates a branch. They don't have that ability

You know what? Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6 is post-snap. Let's just ignore anything else till we see it. It's canon for now.

In that case are we ignoring what they said about it all being pre SNAP?
