Alright I believe once again I have caught up on the timeline edits. I apologize once again for the long wait I intended to do this like 3 weeks ago but the day I was going to my computer just ****** died. It was just finally repaired (mostly replaced) and I was able to get this done again.

I however do have an announcement. I am stepping away from this timeline. I have not effectively been able to keep up on the editing as time went on here, when I started I had more time at work and even some on weekends. But as my business has grown and my daughter gotten older my time at work and home has become slimmer, some days I'm lucky if I'm able to get the episodes finished on the days they release haha. However it is more than that, I've quite frankly lost my love for this group. As many have pointed out its become toxic, now I have seen it growing for a while now and it's just become too much recently. I mean there have always just been some on here who frequently start **** and more often than not are too scared to end it without some cop out excuse as to why they're acting the way they are, but this place and discussing and debating the timeline here largely used to feel fun and more importantly safe even if sometimes **** could get a little heated. But for months now it has seemed like every few weeks it's some new drama. Keeping up with this thread has become a chore and for a while when I've gotten a notification from here I just sigh or roll my eyes. Jhed13 said a lot of ******** against me, as often as they could say it, it but one thing recently was partly true: I am the wrong person to be editing this timeline, at least now I am. When I took over from Lebnyx I was honestly the right person, I was so excited and honored to be part of this timeline, this fantastic effort from fans to build this incredible guide in a way only hardcore fans could. But I have truly come to dread checking the comments on here and admittedly recently I have not helped that and for that I am sorry. Part of me became fed up with the constant ******** and just petty aggressive nature of some here that I started pushing back, admittedly too hard and sometimes too long. The person who edits this timeline should be someone who is excited to be doing it, who is honored to be part of such an effort and that's just not me anymore. I know I recently said that I wouldn't leave and I am sorry I am going back on those words but I've put a lot of thought into this and it's past time for me to hand this timeline off to someone better suited for it in both their love for this group and it's effort but also in their ability to put up with the ******** that gets thrown the way of the editor just cause they take part in debates. For too long I've been worried to comment my thoughts on here because when I do, if I'm on the side that the majority vote as the way to go, I get told I'm "playing god", "being a dictator", "appealing to the masses" and even that as the editor I shouldn't get a vote (bet they wouldn't have said that if I voted for their opinion). This thread and editing the work here has lost its appeal and it's time for me to accept that this role that started out as such an exciting honor has become a tedious chore to get through and there is someone better suited for it.
It's time for me to step away and hand it off to them.

For whoever would like to take up this task, I've created a Gmail to hand over the documents needed for this: [email protected]

I'm sorry I am letting everyone down here (except for the handful of people who are probably happy about this haha), but I'm especially sorry to Lebnyx who trusted me to handle this and took more than enough time to make sure I the details of editing it down. I hope whoever follows this timeline up and continues it is someone who truly cares about this place and won't loose that feeling.

Counter argument: You continue to be the editor; just with less frequent updates

Yes, this is just me coping

Hey, don't blame yourself for it. Stuff happens, things change. I'm sure someone will continue it... I don't really love the idea of taking over personally because it's such a commitment but like... if no one does, I'll... maybe... possibly... consider taking over. Maybe... I'd rather not but y'know, maybe it'd be fine.
I could force my Earth-17315 Appendix numbering agenda and take over the multiverse by adding the TVA comic and associated TVA cameos, muhahahaha! Because I'm evil.

I'm okay with less consistent edits. In fact, users on here could theoretically post the timeline of episodes for Starvel. In any case, he is under no commitment if he is unable or unwilling to continue. Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 4) arrives all the same.

Haha honestly I don't know how less frequent my edits could get without being basically nonexistent.
To be fair, as far as I know, no one has complained about the time between edits.

As of now you're only 2 projects behind, which is way better than some other timelines. I'm not trying to force you to continue or anything, I just don't see anyone on here doing a better job than you.

It's a helluva commitment and tbh one of my worries was that I'd potentially be dumping this into your lap

Looks like there's a lot of glitches to correct, too. Hey, it happens. Easy but annoying to fix.
Too bad I'm done peace out.

jk I think I fixed them. Idk what happened I just recopied everything over and it seemed to be fixed?

I appreciate that and I do a fine job. But this should go to someone who loves this place and this timeline. It means so much to so many people and has for many years. Whoever takes care of the editing should feel the same about it. It should feel good for them, not like a chore.

Thank you @Starvel very much for you work on this timeline for past year and half. You joined hall of legends like DIrishB and others by continuing his legacy and by updating this timeline, thank you.

Just in regards to last update -> Viewing/reading order is not updated to match timeline in first post:
Things I noticed immediately:
1) Runaways position is still old one
2) Defenders positions is still old one
simplified should be based on timeline in first post
AoS 3x11-3x18
WHIH S2
Defenders
AoS 3x19
CA:CW

3) Luke Cage S1 x AoS S3 overlap is still old one

Btw about the glitches, it's probably becouse the timeline text become Gargantuan.

Me and @Pro Bot started to devide the timeline text into sections when the brand we deal Is massive and It didn't couse Any issues After that.

So maybe separating into multiple texts could be the solution to the glitches for anyone Who wants to take this on.

Right yes this viewing order always escaped my attention. I'll get this fixed.

Maintaining passion for stuff like this is hard. I jump around between all kinds of franchise I love (DC, Marvel, Star Wars, etc.) and it's nice when I have no pressure but my own. I can't imagine doing it on here where people rely on you for updates constantly. We've had our intense disagreements, but I appreciate the work you've done here.
