im surprised they didnt at least designate the what if season 2 earths before season 3, considering they designated the season 1 earths before season 2
 
thankfully born again actually did a really really great job with the timeline, unlike brave new world
after rewatching the episodes and watching a few video breakdowns i realized that this election with fisk is actually a recall election, meaning it doesnt necessarily need to be taking place in november; furthermore, fisk becomes new yorks 112th mayor, meaning eric adams, the real-world 110th mayor, is voted out in november 2025, then this recall election takes place in 2026, displacing the typically elected 111th mayor with fisk, the 112th (while new york state is one of eleven that dont use recall elections irl, this can be easily overlooked as just a law thats different within the mcu, or whoever the 111th mayor was ****** up so bad they not only instituted recall elections but then had one used on them to inadvertently oust themselves pretty immediately lmao)

this means that the 2025 election still took place as normal, which was what fisk was seeing coverage of on the news at the end of echo, and allows the series to happen entirely from december 2026 forward, with foggy dying late november or early december 2025

This makes Echo's post-credits scene not a plot hole.

So the election stuff regarding Fisk makes sense. In Echo, he sees the news broadcast about the upcoming 2025 Mayoral election that matches with our world and where the idea to run first comes to him. He talks to Vanessa about how he was broken for months after Echo, which probably explains why he didn't end up running in the 2025 election. The show tells us the election is a recall election meaning something must have happened with the mayor that did get elected in 2025. With Fisk now recovering, he's in the right state of mind to run in this special election. The show tells us he's the 112th mayor which would also fit our world. Currently, we have the 110th, the 111th would be the one elected in 2025, and in the MCU due to the recall election Fisk would be the 112th. It all adds up perfectly.

If only they gave BNW similar thought into its election process.

My headcanon about US presidential election is that had a emergency election in 2018 after Blip, causing the change of election cycle. Until we have a official answer, this my headcanon.

agreed, to me this makes the most sense until otherwise explained:
- 2001-2009 - gwb
- 2009-2013 - obama
- 2013-2017 - ellis
- 2017-2018 or 2019 - trump
- 2018 or 2019-2023 - ???
- 2023-2027 - ritson
- 2027 - ross
- 2027-??? - ???

That's me misinterpreting and is in no way a reference lol
Though he was president in the Spider-Girl universe so I assumed it was probably in turn a reference to that
 
MCU Wiki still has Ritson winning in 2024 due to a Daily Bugle article suggesting that 2024 was a election year. How does it affect the theory that Blip moved the election cycle?

They wrote an article about the area 51 raid when it was trending in real world but would imply it happened much later in the mcu

Plus, can we agree that the Spider-Verse storyline was handled better in the movies than the comics? I mean, all Slott did was essentially kill a bunch of notable Spider variants (namely the animated ones) for shock value and make a self-insert (Silk) who was horny for Peter due to Spider Pheromones or some ****.

Slott was on my opp list for killing MvC Spidey but he at least had the decency to undo Morlun's kills

Based on A Bit of Everything's vídeo, I think the timeline could be like this:

October 27, 2025 - Prologue/Foggy's death.

October 1, 2026 - Fisk talks to Vanessa about his mayor candidature.

October 2, 2026 - Bullseye's sentencing. Fisk announces his candidature.

October 23, 2026 - Fisk talks with his mayoral staff. Matt meets Heather. NY mayor debate.

October 24, 2026 - Matt and Fisk talk in diner.

October 30, 2026 - Matt and Heather go in a date. Fisk wins election.

December 31, 2026 - New Years Celebration. Hector is arrested.

January 6, 2027 - Matt meets Hector, pothole, Matt convinces Kirsten of Hector. Matt and Kirsten questioned about taking Hector's case, Hector's arraignment, BB meets Fisk.

January 7, 2027 - Buck approaches Heather. Shanahan's funeral. Kirsten talks to Soledad, Matt and Heather vacation fantasy. Hector admits to being White Tiger.

January 8, 2027 - Fisk threatens Gallo, White Tiger information suppressed. Cherry suspects Hector case is personal, Matt stands outside a church, Matt follows Powell, Heater meets the Fisks, rescue of Nicky.

What do you think? This is right?

Shoudnt we rather place it in watching order together with rest of season? So after Agatha before BNW?

Why? -> because in watching order we didnt separate AoS 5x05 Fitz's episode, which also spans half year -> it is listed in batch AoS 5x01-5x10 from watching PoV.
Same with Daredevil 3x10 Karen's past episode -> listed in viewing order in batch of whole season 3.

Disagree. We should split them up when it's objectively accurate to the timeline. The Karen episode is, sure, mostly a flashback, but the present day scenes are what matter.
