Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

Erm, on October 16, obviously, you gotta take the midpoint of the dates :nerd:
I know you're joking, but I'm also learning towards October. Especially since Thunderbolts is 14 months before Doomsday - plus Doomsday and Secret Wars (plus the unknown one in 2028) are all to be released in December.

it seems like someone made up a temporary branch for thunderbolts in the last part, look there.

Oh okay.

I can't add it if it's not confirmed. It needs evidence, onscreen or official word.
Well, I found it, maybe it will help in the future.

Destruction of the O.X.E. Kuala Lumpur Research Facility - October 25, 2027

Battle at the O.X.E. Vault. Escape from the O.X.E. Vault - October 26, 2027

Chase of Red Guardian's Limousine - October 27, 2027

Battle at the Watchtower. Attack on Manhattan. Liberation of Bob Reynolds - October 28, 2027

Post-Credits scene 1 (Red Guardian in supermarket) - December 27, 2028

Post-Credits scene 2 (Doomsday) - December 28, 2028

Thanks.

There's concept art for the gala that says "15th anniversary" - but that isn't in the final film.

Yeah in the final version it's "honoring the heroes" instead of "15th anniversary".

So maybe that aligns with Endgame and the death of Thanos and his army in October - 4 years prior? 1750327197750.png

Can't say for sure. It still says Battle of New York at the bottom so could be a random date still. Hmm...

The Battle for New York It was May 4, 2012 - these are the events of the first Avengers

Yeah I know, I meant it couldn't be related to that.

The fall foliage on the trees seen in Thunderbolts + the "HONORING" statement on the gala posters more-so imply the anniversary of Endgame rather than the original Avengers.

But again, no evidence. So either way doesn't matter.

i agree, especially with the release date moving to december; we will hopefully be able to find a clear date somewhere when thunderbolts is released on digital next month but as of now i think oct 27 (fall trees, still the 15th year after the battle of new york) with doomsday picking up in dec 28

I saw someone bring up an interesting concept...might be too ambitious but

Secret Wars - Part 2

I'm imagining that like Doomsday has an Infinity War type cliffhanger... but the Secret Wars ends with an even bigger one - then you get the final chapter in 2028. I like this theory, it would allow more room for the storyline, character growth and probably budget as well.
was thinking it could be this as well
- 12/26 - doomsday
- 12/27 - time runs out
- 12/28 - secret wars

alternatively i can see dr strange 3 being subtitled time runs out and taking the july 27 spot; i also won't be shocked if marvel removes the nov 28 date, i think that would be the closest window between two mcu releases to date
