I'm not really sure what story you could do as a sequel- I don't think the first volume left anything interesting to write an arc about. Plus we have the supposed tie-in with the 'Frightful' arc- maybe that will give even more closure to the series.
I just don't think a second arc is needed.
Wish they had gone with Superman infecting the Marvel heros, though.
