Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands

To correspond with the movie, there'll be another PoP game. For this iteration, Ubisoft decided to leave the 2008 prince behind and use the original character from the Sands of Time. Personally, I think this is an awesome move, as I did not find the newest Prince of Persia to be that challenging in comparison to its predecessors. Evidently, the story will take place between the Sands of Time and the Warrior Within. The story will follow the Prince at his brother's kingdom... Time manipulation will play into it, as well as the promise of new powers that will allow the Prince to control forces of nature.

There's a teaser trailer for this game, too, somewhere but I can't find it/I'm lazy.

I found it to be boring at parts, the threat of not dieing wasn't as nice as I thought it would be. Whenever you where in trouble, just hit triangle and try again.

I would rather have a sequel to the newest Prince Of Persia.

Yes and no. Especially with the 2 different ending presented.

One where the world is restored and your woman is dead....or the ending where the Prince gets all douchbaggy and screws over the world---so his girl can live.

My only complaint goes with what Houde said---the game loses its luster when you realize that you can't die. You fall and she just grabs you automatically. Instant reset. Boring.

I'd also like for there to be more bad guys and an improved/deeper combat system.

But ya can't expect too much from a portable system nowadays.

I don't know. I just looked at it that when you die, you restart anyway. This way you just skip any stupid scenes or something you already done 10 times.

The ending with the douchbaggy is the only ending. There was a downloadable epilogue thing that took place right at the end. Where you play them again trying to escape after he let him go.

Yeah it's a timesaver. But no because it doesn't seem like there's any real consequence to screwing up. No peril. If I mess up...there's nothing to it---she'll just grab me and we'll start over.

Yes and no. Again.

The credits roll as you carry her out the temple. From there, you have the bittersweet ending. You could leave it at that.

...or...

You can be a dick, and go cut down the trees and bring her back to life and watch the world slip back into darkness.

It all depends on what kinda ending you want. Almost similar to the PoP2 dual endings (depending on whether or not you got the Water Sword).

Nothing beats the original Prince of Persia.

I didn't like the new game because the made the control scheme way too easy. when you are running on the wall and you need to make an adjustment either to another wall or a pillar (what have you) you push any of the four buttons and that's that. The controls for the three original games were much better and made the game more challenging than just timing when you push a button and in what sequence.
