Ratatouille

Picked it up for my son and we watched it. We hadn't seen in the the theatre.

Loved it. Very clever and funny.

Definitely one of my favorite Pixar films.

Saw it tonight. Very well done. It's not on the level of Pixar's epics, but it's far from the bottom of their list as well and a very good film in it's own right.

My favourite part was
Ego's reaction to the ratatouille. I was thinking "okay, how are they going to do this so he becomes nice without it seeming corny or unrealistic?", but that moment they used to pull it off gave me such a rush.

The only thing I wanted more from was the score. It was fine, but it should've been much more prominent to create a more definitive atmosphere. I think something like "Rhapsody in Blue" would've gone so well with this film, even though it's so associated with New York rather than Paris. Either way, it needed a more distinct sound, and could've been used more and louder, a fine wine bringing out and enhancing tastes rather than just complementing them.
