If this was the case, would it solidify the previous Leprechaun reference? I don't remember the specifics, but I do remember there being an extremely loose oneLeprechaun (?)

I'd say it's obviously referencing something, so due to it being a Leslie Vernon spinoff it should be assumed to be referencing a horror movie (Leprechaun).Leprechaun (?)
This reference was made through a rabid dog being mentioned in an article in Hack/Slash: My First Maniac #1, which could just be any dog, depending on how they're mentionedCujo (I'm not sure which comic this is in)
Oh hey you got that from my letterboxd listGrandma Sawyer's corpse appears in The Howling, which was done by the same art director as TCM. A coven of werewolves is also mentioned in Child's Play: The Series #2. There's also a newspaper referencing Piranha, another John Dante film, and in Piranha 3D, Matt Hooper from Jaws appears. (This is a lot, and I get the Howling references are a bit scarce, but I just love the idea of Jaws being a part of this for some reason)
The Cujo connection is weak, but considering it's from Hack/Slash and that's full of references to other horror films I added it anywayThis reference was made through a rabid dog being mentioned in an article in Hack/Slash: My First Maniac #1, which could just be any dog, depending on how they're mentioned
KISS are a real band. I mean, unless you want me to include Scooby-Doo...Also, is KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park going to be added, due to the KISS comics with Army of Darkness and Vampirella?
I'm also aware of a few Hack/Slash references to other franchises, though not off the top of my head, so I'll go over the ones to see which are too vague
