@stphylcccs your the one with the Letterboxd Slasherverse timeline right? What are the connections for M3gan and the FNAF movies?
No, @BMarrow has it, I believe. I think the Chucky tv series had something in it to silence anyone who said M3gan was canon (though depending on how you interpret it, it could also be a stronger connection). Blumhouse also said a Saw/M3gan crossover was possible, but that there aren't any plans to do it as of right now. As for FNaF, I've no idea

The connection for FNaF is that he appears in the Fanta ads alongside Chucky and The Grabber. Loose connection, but I guess the ad doesn't contradict the lore of Child's Play and The Black Phone, so it could be in-universe…
And by extension, Black Phone means that the V/H/S movies come in due to Finn and Gwen being the cousins of Gunther from the Dreamkill segment.

Just heard the actor for Dr Lawrence Gordon (Saw) plays Dr Larry in Stranger Things… based on the date on Lawrence's PhD he would definitely be a doctor at this time

The mayor in Stranger Things is Larry Kline, not Gordon. I'd say he just changes his name because of the events of Stranger Things (possibly part of a cover up?) the only problem with this is that his PhD, which dates to '79, says "Lawrence Gordon".

Very frustrating, the only thing that makes the connection viable is the only thing that makes it questionable. Everything else lines up just fine.

Though, the mayor literally only appears in season 3, so it's possible the Russians got him his position and in term set up his false identity in the process - which explains why he's only in season 3 as when the Russians had to leave he would've most likely lost his position. Hawkins is in Indiana, so it's not like it'd be a stretch that the Russians chose him, of all people

If your going to add Stranger Things, what about all those movies and tv shows that are mentioned as fiction even though some of the references are set in the Slasherverse

Are there any other connections?
Not on this thread specifically, but it does reference one "Weylanb-Yutani". There was a quote from the creator saying Hopper was killed by a Yautja, though that no longer lines up with the dates so it should me disregarded (the statement, not the connection)

If Stranger Things is canon, it would be funny if they met up and find out they have similar life experiences

Was that PhD in Saw or Stranger Things? Because, like... an actor can play more than one character with the same Larry/Lawrence.

You could say that for a lot of the stuff on here tbh
It's actually made explicitly clear that there's in-universe movies. Evil Dead and A Nightmare on Elm Street both make it clear. Even The Texas Chainsaw Massacre does, the intro makes it clear there's an in-universe film. Same with The Toolbox Murders. Hatchet, which I'd say makes it very explicitly connected to everything else, still references in-universe films in other parts.

In-universe films are still evidence of a disconnect, I'd say. It just so happens that it usually sorts itself out in-universe.

His daughter is in season 5 too

Is his diploma, not PhD, that dates to 1979, I apologise for that discrepancy. The screenshot is also very blurry, I could probably find a better one online if I looked for long enough but I just went straight into the movie

This isn't really a connection but a character in the hatched comics falls into toxic waste and turns into a living snowman just like in jack frost. There are variants of the Sandersons sisters from hocus pocus in it to.Screenshot 2026-01-12 173237.pngScreenshot 2026-01-12 173225.png
