The meth appears in *The Walking Dead* and *Arrow*, but it can't work in both: in *The Walking Dead*, the apocalypse begins in August 2010, whereas in the *Better Call Saul* finale—set in December 2010—society is still intact. I don't recall the specific *Arrow* episode where the meth appears, but *Arrow* starts in 2012, and the *Breaking Bad* finale shows that those who knew how to make the blue meth were either dead or—like Jesse—had retired.

Walter lives on in the Arrowverse.

L'ho spiegato nel mio thread: non includerò serie di fantascienza o horror, ma solo serie realistiche, come i drammi. Aaron Paul ha detto che *The Walking Dead* non funzionerebbe all'interno di *Breaking Bad* perché *The Walking Dead* è fantasy, mentre *Breaking Bad*, pur essendo di finzione, si concentra sul realismo.

Choosing to exclude The Walking Dead from Breaking Bad is defensible enough, as it was after all the former that references the latter. It's certainly fair to say that BB does not include WD even if WD does include BB. The two universes are not necessarily congruent.

The same is not true with respect to The X-Files. BB references it, not vice versa. If you wish to exclude it, you are free to do so, but do so knowing that you are describing a series as you wish it had been made, not as it actually was.
