Please sign this. Maybe something great will come of it, if Sony is smart. https://www.change.org/p/sony-bring...universe-2245d2f9-c8cf-4f24-a2fb-b8525fb24468.
I don't think https://amazingspiderman.fandom.com/wiki/Symbiote would be a massive continuity error if this happened. Nothing explicitly states it's the symbiote.

Uhhh...I'd rather Venom be retroactively added to the MCU in the future rather than that (dead) universe.

Email says "Case No. 10-27-" (October 27th).
It was sent at 8:14 PM, not 2 days ago or Yesterday, suggesting it has been less than 24 hours since it was sent. Another email has "2018" in it. 6 months later is in May because it seems unlikely it's exactly 6 months so it's probably not April.

That doesn't really explain why it would be May.

Did they mention it being "May" in the film?

Fair enough. I just think it would be a nice fix to the "Spider-Man" problem, or just a recast. It seems the MCU is out of the picture, for now, and the Ramiverse doesn't fit (that would be weird even if it could), so the Webbverse is a solution. To be honest, although the movies weren't that great, Andrew was pretty good as Spider-Man. As Peter Parker, maybe not, but in this universe the only thing thats needed is Spider-Man, not Peter Parker, and that was Andrews speciality.

But maybe a recast would be alright. I mean, they really can't do Kraven the Hunter, Black Cat or Silk without Spider-Man, can they? Ok, maybe Black Cat if we're reaching.

Best hope is MCU merger. I don't see that happening. Sony wants it, though. Maybe they'll get their wish?

No, but it's likely, since it's a least 6 months, and April for the most part is before 6 months (except for a couple days). If it were april it would have to be extremely late April. May is an assumption based on "6 Months Later". That is, of cause, unless it's almost "6 months later"?

This is rather interesting news.
"I think we aspire to have several shows in a universe that we create that can pollinate between each other, and to [be] working with a partner to make that happen."

"Timeline-wise, near the beginning of the movie, there's a visible e-mail which contains a news story covering the NCLA 2018 Presidential Reception, which occurs annually on October 17. The e-mail is dated "Yesterday", placing the beginning of the movie on October 18, 2018. The movie then features a six month time-skip, placing it in April 2019." - The Wikia Editor, Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki - Timeline Discussion

Assuming an MCU integration, I guess this is to be ignored.

In the possibility of a MCU integration, it would have to go early January 2018 to late June 2018, unless of cause it takes place at a period of time when half of everyone is gone, which seems impossible, so I'd go with the assumption that the NCLA Presidential Reception takes place in 1st-5th January and 6 months later is only almost 6 months later, and unfortunately push back Avengers: Infinity War to June.

Either this timeline is going to become defunct because new non-Marvel Studios Spider-Man films will crossover with Sony's Universe of Marvel Characters and still be apart of the Marvel Cinematic Universe or those films are stated non-canon and I have to add all MCU movies/TV series up until Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Either way is a headache, but the former is much simpler and I hope Marvel Studios just allows Sony to do their thing elsewhere in their universe.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse considered that Venom universe (so the entire SUMC universe) is an alternate universe to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Will do you include it? :p

No. Every Marvel universe is within the same multiverse. This is just as connected to the comic universe.

Oh, I see.

Wrong thread but a question that I had for long time (I've not so much comics, just the very classics so...)

Is it the same for DC, then? Every DC universe is within the same multiverse?

I thought that when they say "Earths", it is for Universe (and not just the planet), but yesterday I saw Crisis Aftermath Ep 1 and they placed Argo like another Earth, so the Argo from Supergirl show is the same Argo for Earth-1 TV shows? Or there is Earth-38 version of Argo, Earth-1 version of Argo...?

Argo is a planet within Earth-38.

No, DC has multiple multiverses. For example, the one from the comics has 52 universes. It also has a different Darkseid, Anti-Monitor, Monitor, Monitors, Crisis, etc.. Movie and TV universes, unlike the Marvel multiverse, are not included on Multiverse mapping, save for Young Justice.

It's what I thought, thanks!

Hey, I like what you've done!

Here is my version:

????
Eddie leaves the Daily Globe (New York).

2011, November 2nd
Eddie Brock is reporting the protest in Oscar Grant Plaza (San Francisco).

source: (2011-11-02) This Is What Democracy Looks Like (Event in San Francisco - Oscar Grant Plaza).png

2011, November 3rd
Eddie Brock is reporting the Occupy protest blocking the port of Oakland.

source: (2011-11-03) Oakland Port Protests.jpg

2015, May 5th
Eddie Brock is reporting the "No Monster in Mission" in Oscar Grant Plaza (San Francisco).

source: (2015-05-08) No Monster in the Mission (San Francisco Event).jpg

2017, June
The Life Fundation's space shuttle crashes in Malaisia.
Riot escapes.
The LF brings the other symbiotes in San Francisco.
Eddie Brock and Anne Weying are fired the next day after the Carlton Drake's interview.

source: (2017-06) invitation par mail au NCLA Annual Meeting 2018 à Sacramento (le meeting a eu lieu l...png
My explanation of the mail: Anne Weying is invited to the 2018 annual meeting of the Northen California Law Association (to not be confused with California Law Association around San Diego) at Sacramento, which was on 2017 December 3rd, to talk about what they will plan for 2018.

2017, December
6 Months later...

source: (2017-12) Six months later.png

2017, December 14th
Maria is kidnapped and fuse with Venom.
Dr. Dora Skirth talks of the experiments to Eddie Brock.

source: It's written "7 days" of fusion with the symbiote on her box.

2017, December 21th
Riot arrives in San Francisco.
Eddie Brock fuses with Venom.

2017, December 22th
Big battle in San Francisco.
Venom vs Riot.

source: (2017-12-21 ou 22) Rialto dates (2017-12-23, 2017-12-24, 2018-01-21).png
The Rialto theatre indicates:
"Celtic Champions
Sat, Dec 2* @ 3pm
Sun, Dec ** @ 3pm"

and "***** Sunday January 21, 2018 7PM *****"

My explanation: The Celtic have played a lot of games. In December, they've played the 2nd, the 5th, the 10th, the 13th, the 17th, 20th, 23th, 26th and 30th.
Only one game began at 3pm, a Saturday: it's the 22th.
I don't think the Rialto would put past dates on their lightboard, so the pursuit in San Francisco can only be on the December 22th.

2017, December 23th
Eddie Brock talks with Anne of the aftermath.

201?
Eddie is invited by Cletus Kasady at the San Quentin prison. (for his special writting thing?)

**********************************************************
Another time marker in Eddie's apartment: the SF Weekly of 2017 August 24-30.
Meaning that the movie is on these dates or after.

source: (2017-08-24) SF Weekly.png

original: (2017-08-24) SF Weekly newspaper.jpg

Finally, we know that the movie was filming between the end of October 2017 and the end of January 2018.
