Sony's Spider-Man Universe - Timeline

One could headcanon this show to be a prequel to the animated movie (it cannot be a sequel since Ben Reilly doesn't know of the Multiverse).

* If we say the black and white version is canon.

* If we say Ben Reilly decided to use his original name, Peter Parker, in the animated movie (perhaps because he saw the other Peter Parkers?).

In the Spider-Verse movie, he is from 1933, like the show. Therefore the first Spider-Verse movie could only take place some months after the show.

However, the official word is he is a different version. So, it would be headcanon to say they are the same.

Also, the animated version was bitten by a radioactive spider while the show one was bitten by a half man-half spider mutate. But I guess that's a minor detail in the animated movie.

When I said that the spider noir universe is a variant of the spiderverse animated noir I didn't mean literally I meant that they are both spider man noir variants that are very similar but not from the same universe, maybe parallel earths.

Also I watched the first episode and Ben Reilly literally says someone asked him what universe this is so it definitely has to be after the spiderverse films at least.

After looking at my multiverse chronological order and looking at where the past few marvel projects have ended up in 2027 (e.g. Daredevil BA S02, punisher special and to some degree wonder man) here is what I have landed on.

Btw since we are in a brand new Sony spider man universe I wanted to put Spider noir after Kraven the hunter so that universe ends and a new one begins (kinda like How Andrew Garfield's universe is a successor to Tobey Maguire's) and for the most part I used the same month in the series and merged it with the MCU because the venom verse lined up perfectly on the same day when the no way home spell brought them across and back (apart from an exact 4 year gap) so in my mind the Sony stuff is synchronised with the MCU timeline in months and days but not years so that's why I looked at release order as well.

Wonder Man S01 (Early April 2026 to June or July 2026) (Main events)
What If? VR Experience (May 2024/Around the early events of Deadpool 3)
Deadpool & Wolverine (Late Oct 2024/Oct 2026)
Marvel Zombies S01 (Mid May 2023/NA)

And Ben Reilly didn't know what he was talking about, which he would have if this was after Spider-Verse.

Edit: Wait I misunderstood you. You meant regarding the multiverse timeline.

Hey everyone I just finished Spider Noir and I loved it ofc i watched it in black and white as that is the whole point of Noir and I was surprised that it wrapped up so neatly so I don't know if we are getting a season 2 or not but if we don't then it's not as bad as if they had ended it with unanswered questions that remained.

Btw thank god the timeline placement in this series is so easy to understand with all of the newspapers and dates referenced. Overall multiverse timeline wise I'm now torn between putting this in Oct 2027 or Oct 2028 as 2027 places it between Daredevil BA S02 which has a similar gritty street level NYC mayor conflict going on and Fantastic Four which is a Alternate 60s universe so it just feels perfect bridging the gap between those two stories and themes.

However Oct 2028 is 5 years since Endgame and Loki S01 & S02 happened and opened up the multiverse and in the show's opening monologue Ben Reilly said that a while ago (possibly 5 years ago at the latest) someone asked him what universe this was and I'm leaning more towards it being Miguel O'Hara than the spot because the timeline of events lines up perfectly whereas the spot travelling the multiverse would make it another 1-2 years in the future which would put it after Doomsday and secret wars. Plus I think Ben Reilly would call him more of a freak than someone or some guy. Btw this could meeting could have occurred right after Into the Spiderverse where Miguel started building his spider society from the ground up and also not every spider man variant was apart of his team so i can absolutely see Miguel leaving Ben alone as he wouldn't really know or care about the multiverse and others when he's still lonely and depressed over rubys death.

So yeah I'm leaning more toward 2028 plus that makes it so it's right before brand new day which also has themes of power mutations and man spider but im not 100% sure I guess we will have to wait for secret wars to wrap the multiverse up and work backwards.

Sorry for the long post but wanted to justify my options.

So we have option 1:

Daredevil BA S02 (Early to Mid Oct 2027)

Spider-Noir S01 (10th - 24th Oct 1933/2027)

The Fantastic Four: First Steps (31st Oct - Early Dec 1964/2027)

And Option 2:

Daredevil BA S03 (Around Oct 2028?)

Spider-Noir S01 (10th - 24th Oct 1933/2028)

Spider-Man: Brand New Day (Est. Nov 2028)

Let me know what you guys think.

Shattered Dimensions/comic book Spider-Man Noir meets the TV show version meets the Spider-Verse version.

(Yes I am aware that the photo is probably not referencing those other versions but it reminded me of that idea, what with one of them lacking the hat and the trenchcoat like the comic/video game version while the other two have it like the TV show and the animated movie versions)

Y'know if season 2 does happen I kinda want them to retroactively name the spider guy who bit Ben as some niche character from the comics like Brian Kornfield or Carl King or whatever
