Tho I want to point out that they referenced the fact that there are the films and Top Cow comics too. Probably didn't add them cos they're too many.

So I guess now it exist only one timeline and not 2 as before.

we don't know for sure, for me it's better to follow the classic era set dates.

this could work with considering the prompts dates in the survivor era.

But following that we would ignore the hard dates in the classic era, like TRIV prologue or the Chronicles press kit or Anniversary's intro.

It makes me wonder when the movies and anime are set if we also follow Square Enix's post, maybe 2017 for the 2018 movie and 2025 and 2026 for the Agelina Jolie movies and 2031 for the Hailey Atwell Anime. What do you think?

Kane & Lynch Is set in the same universe as Hitman, if they connect with the series Hitman gets Carried too.

The classic era games has hard dates:

The prologue of TRLR Is set in 1984.

The Chronicles press kit dates all the missions in that game, set between 1982 to 1995.

TRA places its Events (and the 1st game) in 1996.

This are all hard dates for the present day events of TR, which are harder to ignore than that of the Survivor era which have none basically.

Wouldn't it make more sense for them to be retconned a few years (ignoring the hard dates) considering how the Survivor games have modern technology
