In terms of Superman on I Love Lucy. The only thing that suggests it's George Reeves - actor is Ricky referring to Superman's agent. Which could be just the person who sets up Superman's schedule. I am thinking of all the charity appearances Superman did on Lois & Clark, as one example. Hard to believe Superman would pay an agent? I have perfect answer for that- it's his friend at the Daily Planet Clark Kent. He does it as a free favor. seriously I just thought of that and love it! Like Clark interviewing himself in new movie. Basically his own publicist. Which is right out of comics.
The idea of Superman, a real guy facing a tv show is easy to imagine. Especially in the 1950s. It's not scripted show. News footage of his exploits and personal appearances. An occasional interview with him and public service thing to encourage kids to be good citizens.
