as a kid, I read Tin Tin for years without ever realising that Thomson and Thompson's names were spelled differently. And I'm pretty sure they even talk about the difference in spelling on occasion. I've never been a very observant speller.

I for one am glad to see they solved the dead-eyes problem that all of Zemeckis' motion-capture films -- save for MONSTER HOUSE -- had. But of course they're using Peter Jackson's WETA here, so...

They deliberately didn't show any of the characters actually talking.

Story looks fine, as does acting.

Animation looks terrible. It's completely in the uncanny valley.

Maybe it'll look better later. CAPTAIN AMERICA and GREEN LANTERN improve with each trailer. I'm sure it'll be fine.
