Well, we've got one for all the other basic entertainment necessities, it's high time we had one for this.

I went with 12 instead of 10 because it tends to be harder to narrow it down when it comes to music. Feel free to do even more if you need to.

My all-time favourite song is "Bizarre Love Triangle(Every time I see you falling...)" by New Order.

There's no way I can rank the other 11, because that would change on a whim, but here they are:

All These Things That I've Done - The Killers
Eye in the Sky - The Alan Parsons Project
Happy Heart - Andy Williams
Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve
Don't Stop Believing - Journey
Tarzan Boy - Baltimora
When You Were Young - The Killers
Dancing Queen - ABBA
Clocks - Coldplay
I Believe In You - Kylie Minogue

Feel free to mock my outlandish and somewhat effeminate taste in music.

On second thought, dare to mock my outlandish and somewhat effeminate taste in music and I will totally go Dr. Cox on you. It's not like I sing or dance to any of these, you pricks! And that last one only made it on there because it was on the radio all the time when I read Batman: The Dark Knight Returns so I began really associating the two and later found a bunch of parallels between them! Frank Miller! Batman! Manly!!!!

Here's mine. You might notice a few classical pieces up there, and I feel I should mention that I love classical music far more than any of the other stuff they're producing nowadays, so I decided not to have too much in here. However, there are some classical pieces that any top then list I could make would be incomplete without- so I included those. Just realize that above most of these songs is a whole 'nother level of classical music.

You Won't Be Mine- Matchbox Twenty
Symphony No. 1, Mvt. Iv: Stuermisch Bewegt- Mahler
Down Under- Men At Work
How You Remind Me- Nickelback
New World Symphony Mvt. Iv: Allegro Con Fuoco- Dvorak
The Riddle- Five For Fighting
Anything but Ordinary- Avril Lavigne
Clocks- Coldplay
Blue (Da ba dee)- Eiffel 65
Rest Stop- Coldplay
Carry on Wayward Son- Kansas
Under Pressure- David Bowie and Queen

As with any top ten list (or, in this case, top twelve), this is highly subject to change, and this is by no means my "official" top twelve. Also, outside of "You Won't be Mine," which is my favorite song of all time, the rest of these have very little staying power, and are not really in any specific order.

This changes constantly, but as of right now...

Bitterblue - Cat Stevens
Starstruck - The Kinks
Free Four - Pink Floyd
Revolution - The Beatles
Rock Bottom - Kiss
Ring of Fire - Johnny Cash
Picture Book - The Kinks
Interstate Love Song - Stone Temple Pilots
Alive - Pearl Jam
Touch of Grey - Grateful Dead
Villains - Verve Pipe
Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen

I'm thinking of starting a top ten 'top ten threads' threads thread. With the number of these we are getting recently.

Music changes constantly in my head. I have one song that constantly plays in my computer.

Will it go round in circles by Paul Weller.

Cause, I got a song, but I ain't got no melody people.

Number One will ALWAYS be One - Metallica.

The rest is constantly changing, but off the top of my head..

Down With The Sickness - Disturbed
Nameless, Faceless - Fozzy
No More Tears - Ozzy Osbourne
For Whom The Bell Tolls - Metallica
Walk - Pantera
The Wicker Man - Iron Maiden
Cryin' - Aerosmith
Basket Case - Greenday
Poison - Alice Cooper
Turn The Page - Metallica
The Kids Aren't Alright - The Offspring

So far you're the one with the most similar music tastes to me. But this is too hard for me to do. Although it would have some David Bowie in it depending on the day an Eels song.

This is way, way, way too hard. Albums would be so much easier. Here's a decent guess on my part though, in no particular order.

I Walk the Line - Johnny Cash
Here Comes My Baby - Cat Stevens
Birdhouse in Your Soul - They Might Be Giants
Should I Stay or Should I Go - The Clash
Rush - Big Audio Dynamite
Walls (Circus) - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Hide Your Love Away - The Beatles
Centerfold - J. Giels Band
We're Going to be Friends - The White Stripes
She Blinded Me With Science - Thomas Dolby
Blister in the Sun - Violent Femmes
Salisbury Hill - Peter Gabriel

This is so hard. The fact that the Kinks aren't represented at all, or Ruby Tuesday or Sweet Caroline. . . feh.

This is funny , most top ten or 5 or what ever have the same ones repeated in different lists , this is 12 (so more choices) and so far out of 8-9 lists I don't think a song has been repeated , Bands have sure but not songs , That's kinda cool.
