I know we don't typically talk about Transformers comics, but has anyone checked this out? I've been hearing loads of good things about it.

Just to make sure everyone's on the same page, the Wreckers are a Autobot black ops group for elite missions. They have a high mortality rate, so they're usually made up of really obscure Transformers that no one ever bought.

I'll probably tradewait as usual.

Sounds like GI Joe with Transformers instead of GI Joe's.

And they die instead of dodging millions of bullets from behind a cardboard box.

That's...pretty on the money, actually.

The reason everyone's so excited about this is because the writer actually got people to care about such obscure characters. (Supposedly. I haven't read it yet, so I have to paraphrase other folk.) Which is something that's essential for a series about a suicide squad. You've got Pyro, who's basically Dr. Orpheus trying to be Optimus Prime, and Ironfist, a Wreckers fanboy who spends most of his time working on the in-universe Transformers wiki, and keeps excusing himself from the room after embearssing himself in front of his idols.

Just sounds interesting to me.

That would be interesting if I knew about those characters but I don't.

Still, I might check it out.

I loves me some Transformers.
