I guess no one cared to comment on this issue.... sigh.
Anyway, here's the synopsis:
Reed, Ben and Johnny are now in Siberia and finds the plane wreckage. While investigating the site for any proof of Sue's location, the Crimson Dynamo attacks. For continuity freaks, Reed says this is the original Crimson Dynamo and is 1980s tech. Dynamo holds himself pretty well before Reed's Seven-Ten Split knocks him out with an EMP. Dynamo surrenders and gives out the info and even escorts them to Ivan's base.
Meanwhile we finally find out Ivan's motive for capturing Sue. They have finally discovered some way of controlling the phase shifts of the N-Zone and he is planning to phase shift his dead wife with Sue in hopes of reviving her. Dr. Rutskaya (the Russian chick with the big glove) though has other plans and stabs Ivan, apparently killing him. She plans to gain Sue's abilities and use it for some terrorist stuff which pretty much makes her a Black Widow rip-off. Sue eventually gets out of her funk and before the N-Zone thingy starts up, she manages to get out of the stretcher she is strapped in and knocks out some DNA of various animals Ivan has been experimenting which hits the thingy's beam along with Rutskaya.
Back to Reed and friends, Ivan's base has been alerted and a group of Mark II Dynamos are dispatched to face the remaining FF and the Crimson Dynamo. One of them looks like Titanium Man, the rest no idea.
Once again in the base, the chaos that ensued has left the lab in flames and Sue looks for Rutskaya. She finds what appears to be her lying under rubble but finds out that is only a suit. Rutskaya finally appears resembling some grotesque hodgepodge of baboons, bears and other animals asking "I am invisible now?" To be continued. I guess instead of the super-intelligent apes in the 616 version, this is their replacement.
3.5/5. Story's finally picking up and a decent cliffhanger.
