it was apparently intended early on that the character of V in V for Vendetta would be revealed to be Marvelman: there are some early hints of this in V for Vendetta but Moore soon abandoned the idea

So, when Alan Moore says he knows who V actually is... is he talking about the idea of V or his old Marvelman idea? :shock:

Not quite totally believable since it is on Wikipedia, but very interesting nonetheless.

I would have been interested is seeing how he handled that.

I have a lot of trouble believing this.

Knowing Moore's work, it seems too far-fetched, and too different from what he wanted out of both Miracleman and V.
