Do we already have a thread for this? I didn't see one.

I just saw that Enterprise Car Rental commercial where the guy and woman are talking and she mentions that they pick you up. He says, "Well, they should be number one" - which is ****ing stupid and doesn't even make any sense. And the woman says, "They ARE number one!"

Then the worst part - he says, "Well if they're number one, they should have this" and pulls his hand from behind his back - he's wearing one of those idiotic foam number one hands.

ARRRGH it's so stupid! I hate stupid commercials!

I saw a really dumb one a while ago wear this woman takes her dog's old, weathered stuffed bear from him while he's sleeping, throws it out, and buys him a new one.

Do people know NOTHING about dogs?!:x


And to top it all off I have no idea what the commercial was for.

And to top it all off I have no idea what the commercial was for.

My dog had a stuffed teddy bear when he was a puppy. It was about the same size as him so he looked incredibly cute when he'd carry it around in his mouth...

Then he started having sex with it so the teddy bear got put out to pasture, and by pasture, I mean garbage.

Well that's a different story, but the commercial was showing her throw it out just because it was old. As I'm sure you know, dogs become very attached to their old toys and blankets and stuff. You don't just throw them out.

I think this is just another conspiracy by my friends and internet friends to drive me crazy, because I have NEVER seen, nor heard, that commercial, but EVERYONE talks about it.

I hate those comercials that advertise text flirting, and it always shows hot girls stopping their pillow fight so that they can send some flirty text messages, or a bunch of dudes high fiving each other.

Those half to be more pathetic than, 1-900 numbers. At least then you can hear the woman. These are like a $1.95 a text, too. This scam seriously reminds me of Crank Yankers skit where they call a 1-900 number and say his friend wants to have phone sex, but he's deaf, so he needs his friend as an intermediary.

Local commercials are the worst, this place here in Lubbock is called Ralph's Records they used to have one that "parodied" the Wizard of Oz; now the new one does not make any sense whatsoever it's like its made up of inside jokes that weren't funny to begin with. It just boggles my mind.

There's this great commercial for some party line thing called "Red Hots" that I see all the time. There's a chick in a ridiculously skimpy pick nightgown laying in front of the camera. She says,

"My ex-boyfriend said I used to call Red Hots just for random hookups and you know what? He's right."

Her "OMG-I'M-SO-HOT!" expression when she says that makes me laugh everytime.

I ****ing hate the Lunesta had "If you have problems sleeping Lunesta can help. Cause Lunesta is very effective. Call your doctor about Lunesta.Lunesta" They say the name some many times it just pisses me off. And is anyone getting this negative ad campaigns that pretty much just says their with Bush? Of course they are they're republicans you dumb ****! The rest of those ads are so stupid and rediculus I feel like voting against the guys approving it

I remember seeing a commercial a while back where they depicted Harold Ford Jr. as an assosiate of porn moguls and another stating that he intends to sell the abortion pill to schoolchildren. The only it was missing was "I'm Bob Corker and I approve this message."

But to keep on topic and this speaking of politics, I hate the commercials with politicians doing nothing but talking trash about their competion. It's always the same thing. I think I see about one add where the guy (or woman) talks about themself maybe once every couple years or so.

You know what commercials are stupid? The "PC vs Mac". They're such full ****. They act as Macs are perfect and nothing can ever go wrong. Such bull****. Macs have given me plenty of problems and frozen on me before.

They certainly do put a hell of a lot of money into those commercials. What really shocks me is that the only sustanial difference between the two is their operating systems. You can get the same software for PCs as you can for Macs.

What I love about Apple is that the only part of the company that's doing well is iTunes and iPods. It really makes you wonder if they'd even be around right now if they had never come out with the iPod.

I'm sick of those flu shot commercials.

A kid lying in bed tells his mom he feels like s***. She then gives some pretensious, mocking speech about how it can't possibly be the flu because "the influenza vaccination helps to fight the flu virus by causing you to produce antibodies", and since you had the shot, you must be faking, so get up for school.

What a load. Everyone I know who gets that shot always feels like s*** the next day, and half of them get the flu a few months later anyway.


I hate all the stupid flu shot propaganda that gets shoved down out throats every Fall. Look at me. I've NEVER had the flu shot and, amazingly, I've somehow never gotten the flu either(!). Meanwhile my dad and half my friends get it every year and they've all gotten the flu several times.

Haha - yeah, that's true I guess. But that's kind of like saying the only substantial difference between a PlayStation and an XBox is the operating system. That's kind of the point.

You can get the same software for PCs as you can for Macs.

Many programs are available for PC *and* Mac, but not all. Most software made by smaller developers is not.
