Naruto

I think so far my favorite manga arc has to be the recent Shikamaru and Team 10 vs. Hiden and Kakuzu. It was awesome how just continually owns Hiden.

The recent arc has been a little disappointing because of how easy Orochimaru went down.

Orochimaru was half-dead though. Sasuke was only able to kill him because his body was failing.

And Naruto's new jutsu thing sucks.

Okay, here's my two cents.

Orochimaru isn't dead. I doubt Sasuke stopped him completely. I'm assuming Orochimaru is hiding inside Sasuke's head, waiting for him to slip up and then take control of his body. Remember, the Demon Fox said Sasuke needs Naruto alive. And I'm assuming it's to help Sasuke defeat, once and for all, Orochimaru.

Also, didn't Kabuto make a remark about how Orochimaru isn't dead, just binding his time. And what about the kid that Orochimaru took over in the first series of this manga? His soul is still in Orochimaru as well, and I think should have some role to play in the future.

Now, on to Hiden. He's not gone either, I fully suspect him to be back after getting dug out of the hole by another member. And while Shikumaru is cool, I don't think he's out of the woods yet with this guy. None of Naruto's friends have died yet, I fully expect this to happen in the future.

Meanwhile, while Sasuke is going around recruting a new team, I'm waiting for the reason why. Maybe it's to go after his brother, but wouldn't he want to do that on his own? I'm thinking he's creating this team not for Sasuke's reason, but Orochimaru's reasons.

So far this second season isn't as good. The first one built towards the ending, this one I have no idea where the writer is going. Not a good thing.

Honestly? I think Orochimaru may be dead. I wouldn't put it past Kishimoto to kill him off like that. I never really liked Orochimaru as a villain, and he was never very popular among fans (if you look at the popularity contests).

I think that Sasuke is assembling his little team thing to take out Ataksuki as a whole, though he probably plans to kill his brother himself. Especially after he heard that Naruto and friends have been Killing(?) so many members themselves.

Maybe, but Orochimaru shouldn't be a character people like, he's a slimy bastich, people should hate him.

I think the one thing we can agree on is that Sasuke isn't evil, just misguided, even if he's that.

Still, he needs to put in his place again by his brother.

Well, have you read the last few chapters? Sasuke's coming off as very human, if insanely powerful.

Does it bother anyone else that Naruto is still very weak after the timeskip? Wasn't he supposed to be training with one of the Sannin? And he still only uses two techniques (rasengan and Kage Bushin).

He still lacks control, but I wouldn't say he was weak. Naruto has hardly won his fights out of power though, he tends to win out of trickery.

But he has a boatload of chakra, he simply puts it all into one or two jutsus

I guess I was expecting for him to come out of the 2 1/2 years of training with more techniques. I mean, Sakura is now a medic nin and Sasuke killed a Sannin. I suppose that Naruto isn't weak, but he isn't much stronger than he was before. And apparently, the only new Jutsu he has, his special wind-rasengan thing demolishes his arm every time he uses it.

Yea, but doesn't his fox state completely restore him? And didn't his training with Pervy Sage give him more control with his fox states?

Except, as Perverted frog man (who's name I keep forgetting) said, every time he uses the demon chakra, it drains away his lifespan, rendering his 3 years of training useless.

Wow, I never thought I'd discuss Naruto this in depth. It's basically just a passing hobby of mine. I don't have a problem, I swear!

When did he say that? I thought that Orichimaru's seal that he put on Naruto was doing that, and when Pervy Frog Dude (Jiraya?) removed it, it took away that drawback.

I do remember him saying the seals on Naruto would prevent him from dying if he used the Fox's chakra. He said that during the training before the final Chunin Exam.

Unless I read wrong.

No, I'm talking about arc 2 of the manga. Jiraya(?) was talking to Tsunade and he said that every time Naruto used the demon Chakra, it drained away his lifespan, even if it healed immediate injuries. I can't remember what chapter it was in, but I'll try to find it.

I remember something like that too, the fox regenerating his cells shortens his lifespan, similar to what happens with Tsunade.

The way I see it, the nine-tails is more of a hinderance to Naruto in this arc. It hurt Sakura when she got close, and it's currently pretty useless against Sasuke. From my interpretation one of the themes of part 2 is Naruto moving away from using the demon's powers as a crutch and trying to get stronger by himself. That's how I see it anyway.

I also agree with Houde: Hidan will most likely come back, but not anytime soon.

So,what do people think of the dubbed version of Naruto that is currently on television?Do you like it?I do,i watch it often.I think its boosting the popularity of the manga and anime.
