American Politics

Who do you think you are? Alberto Gonzales?

People are waaaay too convinced that the Democratic nod is going to Obama or Clinton. They are dividing the party at a time when above all else, the party needs to be unified against the current presidency and the war. The Democratic party looks like little kids running around yelling at eachother, and at the end of the day, I don't think either of them will will the Democratic Nomination.

Gore's going to enter the race last minute, he's going through ALL the motions a candidate would, and then within TWO YEARS he did a documentary with a companion book, and another book about politics and what he thinks is wrong with America and how he would change it.

He's keeping himself a household name, and in a very positive way. He's not out there letting himself get eaten alive by the press like Obama and Clinton have been... Obama being tied to Muslim terrorists, and then guilt-tripped by the media into quitting smoking... And Clinton is just being painted as "The Women Candidate." She's quickly becoming nothing more than a novelty.

Gore winning would send a clear message to the world at large... That we're handing the government back into the hands of the man who should have been running the show in the first place. Its all about healing the wounds inflicted by the Bush Presidency.

As I said before, though, I would rather have Edwards than Gore, but those two are my big choices.

A Gore/Obama ticket would be cool too. The first African-American Vice President isn't nothing.

Gore would be the Dem to vote for, in my case. And, to be honest, he'd win by a large margin if he ran. I hope you're right, Doc.

Edwards has that small town feel though. I think he would crack eventually and step down (he became pres).
