I am completely enamored with HBO and their shows.


Despite the horrible ending to The Sopranos (biggest WTF moment on TV ever)....I am digging their other shows something fierce. Did I just say "something fierce"? :?


Anyways...I'm totally onvolved with "John From Cincinatti" and their new comedy "Flight o th Conchords". Especially the Conchords. "You're so pretty you could be a part-time model." :lol:

I love Entourage.

And I liked watching that Flight of the Conchords, too. The Outback Steakhouse guy is actually as funny as he is on those commercials. :lol:

Vertigo should distance themselves from being "The HBO of Comics". It's the other way around --- HBO is actually the Vertigo of TV.

My girlfriend made me start watching season one of Big Love, which just came back, and it's pretty good. HBO really knows what they're doing. Sopranos, of course, puzzling ending and all, was incredible. Curb Your Enthusiasm. Entourage. Of course, I am still bitter to this day over the truncated awesome of Carnivale.

I love Extras and Curb Your Enthusiasm and Six feet under. And from what I understand Soprano's and Deadwood are brilliant. I watched an episode of deadwood and didn't really know what was going on, It seemed good if I had started at the beginning. I enjoy loveless thought I find it slow pace and would work better as TV shows (I know deadwood came first, but you get what i mean).

I really want to get into The Sopranos and Deadwood.

Big Love is arse.

Flight of the Conchords owns. I love their Lord of the Rings rap.

Oh I know the Flight of the Conchords folk-comedy duo. I'll have to look out for that one. Love 'business time' and the battle rap one.

I agree on Big Love being pretty awful... Maybe not awful. The older redhead wife and the young brunette are pretty sexy. I just can't get into it.

Entourage is dope. I can't miss an episode.

Sopranos was good but I'm way too far behind to ever care to catch up.

And Carnivale is just about the greatest television ever created... I heard HBO was talking about wrapping up the show with a miniseries. Any news on this?

Yeah, Extras is on HBO.


Aside from Big Love, there's not really an HBO that I don't like. Even Sex In The City was good. Yeah....I said it.

Yeah, to be fair to Sex in the City, it's only fundamental problem was that it ran too long after it jumped the shark --- about the time when Sarah Jessica Parker became a producer.

You were right about ROME.

However, I've JUST started CARNIVALE, I'm in the middle of the second episode now.

Not only is it ****ing interesting - but WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!?!?!?!

I'm enjoying it. :D

Seriously, mole, the internet. It is for porn. A lot of which is free. Watch it. I promise you it's better if you're looking for hot women and sex.

:lol: Didn't say I watched it just for the sex and hot women , They also had cool storylines and it was all-round a great show
