The DVD purchase thread

I finally bought Dr. Strangelove today. I was at Barnes and Noble and decided to peruse the DVD section, and lo and behold, there was Dr. Strangelove, beckoning. I'd recently seen the movie again on TCM and remembered how much I loved it, so I snatched it up. I honestly don't know why it took me so long to buy this movie, it's one of my absolute favorites.

Yesterday Lyn bought Tropic thunder on dvd. Since she's living here now I can watch her dvds anytime I want. However.... She has told me I'm NOT allowed to watch Tropic Thunder till the weekend when she's off so we can watch it together.

I thought "Ah she'll never know" and went to the dvd. It's still in the plastic wrapper :( So I have to wait. I can see it in this room but can't watch it. It's annoying but I understand she wants to see it together. Still should be cool been waiting to see thii since I saw trailer however I don't do cinemas much so waited for dvd. This weekend I shall watch :D And if Hard drive arrives after we see it I'll copy it to ps3 video format and store on hard drive :D

Another great argument for downloading. My wife doesn't want me to watch "13 Going On 30" without her, but I can watch it and she'd never know!

Now that could work. But I'll wait till weekend encase i'm dumb enough to leave file on my pc. Oh god what have I become :(

I bought War of the Worlds special edition and The Silence of the Lambs Collectors Edition yesterday.
