The Dark Knight {Spoilers Abound}

I've never understood how Maroni's driver never sees Two-Face get into the back of the car. Or how the Joker manages to get a burning fire truck blocking half of the street (forcing the police escort containing Dent to go down to the streets below). Surely the route would be monitored by all sorts of cops. There's no way he would have been able to do that.

There's a pretty good list I have of stuff that doesn't make sense in this movie...I still like it though.
I just figured they didn't have enough resources to watch every single part of the road with all the tracking blocking they had to do. Plus remember there still are dirty cops. I bet the truck was being used as a road block on the street they were suppose to pass and blew it up quite recently. The thing that got me was why didn't they just drove on the other side of the road. I mean traffic was block both ways. They could have avoided the tunnel all together, flaming truck or no.
Yeah, there's plenty of logistic flaws in the film. My biggest gripe comes from the opening scene:

How is the Joker able to back a schoolbus truck into a bank without anyone noticing? THEN, able to just randomly pull into the middle of a schoolbus convoy with perfect timing.....from the front of the bank....and nobody questions it?!?!?! The bus driver behind him didn't notice the bus coming from the bank with dust and dirt flying from the top????

I assumed all the school buses were in on it. Like Joker just bribed or blatantly took a bunch of school buses and have them cover the crashing into the bank. Sure people would have heard it but without clear sight and their minds focused on rush hour no one probably would have investigated. Plus with a dozen school buses by the time any cop would have gotten their they would have spread across the city with enough time for the Joker to move the one with money to a more discreet vehicle.

You guys are ridiculous.

All movies will have flaws if you look at them this closely.

The Dark Knight has all sorts of weird off-screen stuff that bugs the hell out of me(did Joker cut Gambol's mouth? Why was there no blood or a scream? How did that kill him?), but the car one is the only one where I genuinely don't get why they left it that way, because it's a great shot otherwise. Why not just have him leaning out the front window?

Watching it the other day makes me think that he just pulled the knife out and stabbed him instead and we didn't see the blood because of how the camera moved. I would think there was a better explanation for what happened there, that they had to remove to get the PG-13 rating.

I wish they'd release a proper special edition of this movie like the Batman Begins one.

The movie is perfect and these are not plot holes. The Joker is magic and that is why he can do the things he does.

THE DARK KNIGHT IS PERFECT!

I SHALL BROOK NO DISSENT!

ANY MORE POSTS OF THESE VILE AND DAMAGING LIES WILL RESULT IN PERMA-BANS!

Yeah I always wondered the same thing.

The bus thing is a little off but I can see that happening. I guess.

I never seen the film fully.

HoudeFact #45: Houde has not seen a movie all the way thru since 1999. It's all been bits and pieces that he's added together. Some scenes tend to get a little mashed together.

Christian Bale is Batman...who performs magic tricks with his twin brother....while keeping the crops safe from dragons....in the future where he fights robots.

Good movie.

That's another problem I have with that scene. They easily could have driven on the other side of the road, which is pretty obvious while watching the movie. And the Gotham police had at least one helicopter monitoring the route they were going...if they didn't notice a flaming fire truck before hand then they are the worst police department in the world...

I remembered another thing. The stand off between the Joker and Batman. Batman rides the batpod straight at the Joker and at the last second swerves to miss him. Then, when the batpod comes to a stop he just falls off...seemingly unconscious. Why is he unconscious?? Was the force of the batpod sliding really that extreme?

I'm willing to bet that was just a production slip up, though didn't he hit the truck?
