Lost *spoilers*

That's what I have been thinking, too. I did like this episode, though.

It had an ending with an interesting implication. I like how things are tying together. Reminds me of Jake Chambers in the Dark Tower.

Yeah, it was very bizarre. Especially the promo with the Willy Wonka thing. WTF?

The whispers thing felt like "oh yeah, we better explain these whispers." And Illana didn't last long.

Lost kind of feels lazy and/or rushed now and I don't like it. Maybe it will be more cohesive when it's over but I'm really disappointed.

I only felt that way with Illana and the whispers, those kind of happen randomly. The rest of the episode is great.

So, I really hope the lingering dead (coming soon from Robert Kirkman, heh) don't mean the island is actually purgatory.

Meanwhile, THIS is a pretty good explanation of why the others got all dressed up in costumes.

Brilliant. Are you posting these on Lost forums?

Thanks! I've never been on one, actually. Feel free to repost 'em if you're a member of any.

The prospect of the explanation for the Whispers just being "Yeah, they're ghosts" is so fraught with problems that I'm not even going to entertain the idea of them not explaining it further by the finale. I have faith in them for that one, and most of the stuff going on now. If they never go into more detail about that, it will be one of the biggest ripoffs of the series.

Final shot of LOST revealed!

I have to share this sneak peek. I saw it and said, "Damn, now this is the scene that I have been waiting for all season!" If this is just a sneak preview, I can't imagine how the rest of the episode will be.

The part about that that I find exciting is that the next logical question for Jack to ask is, "So then, did you pose as my father too?"

ANOTHER sneak peek
where Sun recognizes Locke in the alternate timeline and is afraid of him
and it makes me believe that this will be a great episode.

 That's so awesome!

I just hope the Jack/Locke is much better than the Life and death of Jeremy Bentham. I get why it wasn't that amazing but I was really hoping for a card on the table all out final debate between the two.

so who was the last recruit?

Claire?

I really liked this episode. It finally feels like things are happening. Most of the characters were finally doing something and not having to restrict the sideways flashes to just one character means the alternate universe storyline was much more interesting this time.

They fired missiles!
