I can't find the timestamp (0:01:25 - 0:05:18) for Legends of Tomorrow 2x11 "Turncoat" anywhere

Crisis is 1 year ago according to the new Superman & Lois.

Umm... almost 2 years exactly by this point; by only 3 months...

I'm gonna just ignore the "2022" on the one guy's mayoral campaign's shirt and posters from early in the season.

I watched the episode and noticed the "1 Year Ago" but not the 9 months. There's no way it can be 9 months as S1 and S2 both start at the beginning of different school years. Someone screwed up.
1 Year ago per the time stamp. Within that one year, Natalie was in Limbo for 6 months following Crisis. 3 month time jump between season 1 and 2.

That's pretty big and definite, and I might have to throw out real world context you've given me depending on if my rewatching of this whole reflects any of that or not.

Let's say I ignore that "1 Year Ago" and "6 months" line, or hell the "3 months later" line: That benefits what? The 2022 on the t-shirt? The assumption that they moved to Kansas at the start of the school rather than middle (which is a thing)? From what I can tell, this is a clear retcon and ultimately I might have to wait a while for this season to end before I can update anything.

It's not just real-world evidence though. Like you said the other mayoral candidate had a 2022 poster, the sports schedules for last season were 2020-2021. And I feel like we've seen ones this year for 2021-2022. There's no way S1 & 2 can be within the same year as both show the boys at the beginning of the school year, which is matched by two separate football seasons. The whole 6 months thing is sloppy. At least 1 Year Ago could still kinda work. This isn't the first time the shows have made an error like this. Just look at Devoe saying the Particle Accelerator accident happened on January 17th, although every other mention placed it on December 11th.

I can ignore text on a shirt. Even a blurry calendar in the background or a blurry newspaper date.

What I can't ignore is a clear-as-day 1 Year Ago timestamp and a line about "6 months" passing since Crisis.

The football season thing is tricky, but unfortunately I don't think it reflects reality. IIRC they don't say it's fall, spring, winter, etc because it's vague.

Don't take this as me throwing out everything you've suggested to me, you've been very helpful. But it appears this show has retroactively gone beyond that based on vague information or no info given in-show that 'justifies' said retcon.

Like I said, I'll wait until the season is done. The timeline isn't broken to me yet.

Oh, my frustration isn't with you. It's the writers who can't keep up with their own continuity. And S1 had the Fall Festival confirming it was Fall. Where was the 6 months line at? The Devoe line was hard dialogue but was still ignored because it didn't make sense. I feel like the same applies here.

Natalie's computer said stasis lasted 6 months.

What DeVoe line are you referring to? January 2014?

I always took that as a timeline flux. You can't do that with Limbo or another Earth.

OK.

In "Tired and True" they have a line that they have been in Smallville for six months.
I might have to bump Season 2 to late Spring 2021. I'll have to figure this stuff out still.

I have the belief the other Earths weren't exactly lined up anyways. Maybe for Natalie, the stasis lasted 6 months, because her Earth was later than December 2019 when it was hit. Similar to the discussion we had with Supergirl S1 not having to match the Earth-1 timeline just because Barry crossed over. And that for him it was April 2016 but October 2016 for Kara. Plus we've already seen this in the shows. For example, Invasion happens in December 2016 on Earth-1, but when Cisco went to get Kara on Earth-38 it was just after Thanksgiving.

I just feel like there's some leeway when other Earths are involved.

Weird that they would have a new Football season in the Spring. Along with Sara going to camp, but once again it's the writers not paying attention to their own show.

Okay okay, wait. I think I can ignore the 6 month line from Natalie's A.I. in the sense that IF we assume in Limbo there's no passage of time so she can't starve or die from whatever while there, but she was in stasis for 6 months out of...I dunno, a year.

So I might have to put a big gap between those two flashbacks.

I think that could work.
