Hmm, I did not play Hogwarts Mystery, what are the discrepancies?

I don't think the symbols reference universes, they just reference the media the title was released.Oh I just noticed the symbols on the timeline below the entries. That would confirm that the Fantastic Beasts are movie universe for sure at least and Cursed Child play is dominant over the script in both universes.
Fantastic Beasts is canon to both, if book, movies and games are separated, which as for now IDK, coz ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh.Oh I just noticed the symbols on the timeline below the entries. That would confirm that the Fantastic Beasts are movie universe for sure at least and Cursed Child play is dominant over the script in both universes.
As for Hogwarts Mystery, I would personally go with a diverged timeline. Many people said it contradicts some things from the main HP plot anyway, like the Quidditch tournaments, which of course we could look past, but ehh.
Agreeable. Fantastic Beasts would be both book and movie canon I would think.https://harrypotter.fandom.com/wiki/Harry_Potter_universe
According to the Wiki:
1. Hogwarts Legacy
2. Fantastic Beasts Films
3. Harry Potter Wiki
4. Hogwarts Mystery
5. Harry Potter BOOKS
6. Magic Awekened
7. Wizards Unite
8. Cursed Child
soooooooo
Alterned Timelines:
1. Harry Potter Movies
2. Harry Potter Video Games Adaptations
What do you think?
looking back at this, i see that there isn't an icon of the video games with the movies and books, so def the video games adaptations are an alternate timeline, tho they see the movies and novels being the same universe.... Hogwarts Mystery is set in the same universe "Your Hogwarts Story".So I looked more into it. A while back there was a timeline posted on the Pottermore wiki
From this I could take away 2 scenarios:
1: Hogwarts Mystery is a divergent timeline
2: Hogwarts Mystery takes place in the film universe as the Fantastic Beast movies are on there. (If we consider that the Cursed Child refers to the play and that the book universe does not have the Fantastic Beast movies as canon)

@Megatron found this Tumblr thread for Hogwarts Mystery that has a rough idea of the timeline for the chapters up to Year 6, including Side Quests and the Time-Limited Side Quests
And the HP wiki has some more info on the TLSQs, if it helps

which games? For some reason, I feel like a lot of the games could be canon to the film universe, too. The upcoming show might also take the pre-Harry Potter chronological stories as canon too, just to confuse matters further.
Hogwarts Legacy and a few of the other non-adaptation games.which games?
The Audiobook Version is read by Redmayne in characterFantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them [Books pre-2017 had a foreword by Dumbledore, Post-2017 had one written by Scamander and 6 new creatures]
First time I've learnt about that and I love the implication. So silly.Very very likely not canon, but what about Fantastic Beasts of the TSA? T'was released in 2016 I believe, and Newt was confirmed to still be around in 2017...
