DC Extended Universe / DC Universe - Timeline

Another reason by the Blue Beetle movie isn't DCU is because the LexCorp logo is in the background establishing shots of the city it's set in.

The post-credits scene might be, assuming the movie's events happened almost the same in the DCU with some differences, or we could take from that Ted transmitted to the wrong Earth from the Temporal Zone.
(Or the DCU has no Jenny Kord. I don't know. We'll see how that resolves.)

idk personally I feel that the Blue Beetle animated follow up will still be DCEU (Post Flashpoint).

James Gunn stated Clark Kent was born on February 29 and that he's 30, and the one year that matches with David Corenswet's age is 1992, so perhaps the film is set in 2022? Or was Gunn just rounding it up?

Gunn said Superman was the same age as Corenswet. Corenswet was 31 during filming of Superman.

But yeah, 1992 is a leap year, like you said. Had that in mind too. :)

I don't think he was necessarily saying that his Superman's birthday is February 29th, just that, in general, Superman's birthday is on February 29th. That comes from the comics. He never said that DCU's Superman was born on that day.

Considering how much Gunn wants to follow the comics unlike the Snyder-led franchise I think he's going to keep that detail

Three years.

Three years.
I already brought it up.

Honest question, just humour me. How the hell would I timeline this?

Essentially, they're imagining scary villains like you'd see out of movies. A character that someone mentioned earlier in the video appears within the imagination later on, which surprises them because it shouldn't be possible (at 5:45)... then Kevin McCallister appears and, I guess, probably kills that guy.

So, uh... are their imaginations actually real events that occur later? Or, do they both imagine that guy? Or, perhaps that friend of his took them to the astral plane and has mind powers, then Jack uses his memory of Kevin murdering a home invader to defeat him? God, that sounds so stupid... probably true though, Jack looks like he's summoning him.

I get the context is that it's all a joke thing, but still. If we interpret the short literally, what is literally happening?
