I feel like that Afterlife and Frozen Empire and Casper could be set in the IDW Universe as well

What about the list of universes though? It still has Afterlife, Frozen Empire and Casper together with the comics

The comic book tie-in to Monster House is extremely hard to add due to being rare. I found a PDF of it but it forces itself to close randomly. If I can find a good copy of that, yeah, maybe.

Slimer is intended to be set in the same universe as The Real Ghostbusters. IDW placed it in it's own universe though, so it's simultaneously standalone and exists alongside the rest.

This is how I'd probably categorise everything.

The Real Ghostbusters, Slimer! and Extreme Ghostbusters are intended to be the same universe as each other and the first two movies. The second movie is only referenced as actual events - there was never an in-universe Ghostbusters II film. Plus, the in-universe Ghostbusters (1984) has a way different voice for Peter. I take it that the real life actors played the characters that they played in real life in an in-universe movie version.

IDW essentially went ahead, made a new "movie universe," established that basically everything is it's own standalone universe (including The Real Ghostbusters, Slimer! and Extreme Ghostbusters), and promptly got discontinued.

Easy solution (kinda...), the main timeline includes everything that isn't linked directly to IDW's storyline, and then the IDW Dimensions only include events from the specific iteration it draws from.

In other words:

- Primary Universe includes The Real Ghostbusters, Slimer! and Extreme Ghostbusters. (+non-IDW storyline comics [possibly Mars Attacks The Real Ghostbusters?])

- Dimension 68-Q includes Slimer!. (+IDW storyline appearances)

- Dimension 68-R includes The Real Ghostbusters. (+IDW storyline appearances)

Dimension 68-E includes Extreme Ghostbusters. (+IDW storyline appearances)

Heck, maybe there's a decent in-universe explanation here. Maybe it was the movie versions crossing the streams that created this multiverse where their adventures are fragmented rather than the IDW versions. Nonsense? Yeah. 😅

So which comics are now set in the movie universe?
Canon
Ghostbusters: Back in Town (Dark Horse)
Ghostbusters: Dead Man's Chest (Dark Horse)

Canon-Adjacent (not in a YJ way, but in a "it fits" way)
The Real Ghostbusters (Marvel UK)
The Real Ghostbusters (NOW Comics)
Slimer (NOW Comics)
Ghostbusters: Times Scare! (IDW)
Mars Attacks The Real Ghostbusters (IDW)

The reason Mars Attacks and Times Scare are allowed is because neither is part of the official storyline continuity. They're compatible with Dimension Prime and Dimension 68-R respectively, but they're not made to be part of them... even though they could be.

I kinda see it like watching each Ghostbusters property is a bit of a Schrödinger's cat. Extreme Ghostbusters could either be preceded by The Real Ghostbusters (and the two movies) like intended, or it could be preceded by similar events to those stories in Dimension 68-E, one where Slimer canonically looks different rather than an art style change.

What this means is that, when I finish The Real Ghostbusters, I'll add exclusively that show to the Dimension 68-R timeline (no Slimer or Extreme). Same thing with Dimension 68-E for Extreme Ghostbusters.
