Guys, about DOFP, do you guys have a theory/headcanon of how Kitty Pryde learn her ability to send consciousness back in time?, I know is a extension of her mutation, but always wanted to know how she discover, was by accident?

She definitely had to did a test to learn how works, etc.

I think she didn't developed this extension in Revised Timeline.

Maybe she was stroking Iceman's head (since they were a couple between The Last Stand and DOFP), then accidentally triggered that consciousness-sending energy and sent him back a day, he returned and told her about it, which led her to develop this to used against Sentinels to the point we saw in DOFP.

Does that make sense?

In X1, how did Magneto know about Rogue and her power? (Headcanon)

After Mystique kidnapped Henry Gyrich and assumed his identity, she gained unrestricted access to intelligence on mutants compiled through Senator Kelly's sources. Since Gyrich served as Kelly's aide, Mystique was able to review classified files containing known mutants' identities, powers, last known addresses, and other personal information gathered from local sources across the United States. One of those reports originated from Mississippi, where Senator Kelly's local sources had learned of the incident through news coverage and subsequent inquiries, and concerned Marie D'Ancanto, later known as Rogue. The file detailed the incident in which Rogue accidentally absorbed her boyfriend David's life force through physical contact, leaving him in a coma and later prompting her to flee home. The file also contained a statement from Rogue's ex-boyfriend after he awoke from the coma of three weeks, in which he said, "It felt like she was draining the life out of me," information that Kelly's sources had managed to obtain.

Mystique reported Rogue's file to Magneto. After learning about Rogue, Erik deduced that her mutation likely allowed her to temporarily absorb not only a person's life force, but also a mutant's abilities through physical contact. Believing his deduction was correct, he realized Rogue's power could solve the problem of operating the Mutant Conversion Machine. If Rogue absorbed his magnetic abilities, she could temporarily wield his powers and operate the machine in his place, allowing her to activate it without risking his own life.

Magneto immediately dispatched Sabretooth to capture Rogue. Arriving at her last known address in Mississippi, Sabretooth discovered that she had already run away. Entering her bedroom, he picked up her scent and began tracking her across North America using his heightened animal senses. The trail eventually led him to Alberta, Canada, where Rogue had encountered Logan.

Meanwhile, Professor Xavier anticipated that Magneto would soon make his next move following their meeting in the Senate. Although Cerebro could not detect Magneto because his helmet blocked Xavier's telepathy, it could still locate other members of the Brotherhood. When Xavier detected Sabretooth's presence in Alberta, he concluded that Magneto's plan was already in motion and immediately dispatched Cyclops and Storm to intercept him. They arrived just in time to rescue Logan and Rogue at the truck stop before Sabretooth could capture her.​
