Pretty sure the place the crime boss was at was some sort of mineral refining facility, so if there was a meteorite crash nearby he probably thought there would be a good place to look
Stryker had met a Nigerian crime boss at his illegal mineral refining facility in Lagos, Nigeria. Seeking minerals for military applications, for potential experimental armor and weapons, he attempted to negotiate a supply.

During the meeting, Stryker noticed an unusual metallic rock displayed on the crime boss' desk. Intrigued by its potential military use, he requested the rock and information about its origin. The crime boss refused, and Stryker left empty-handed.

Later, Stryker returned with his team of mutants, Team X, to pressure the crime boss. Under threat, the boss revealed the rock had been found in a small village. When Stryker and Team X went to the village, the locals initially refused to disclose the rock's origin. The confrontation escalated into a violent conflict, prompting Logan to leave Team X.

Ultimately, the villagers revealed the location, leading Stryker to a meteorite impact site in Africa. He secured the meteor, which had fallen prior to 1973. Using its metal, Stryker created a new alloy: Adamantium.

In Revised Timeline, similar events occurred, but Stryker acted without the existence of Team X.

Timeline - Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto - Post-Auschwitz to Sebastian Shaw/X-Men: First Class

1945–1948
• Liberated from Auschwitz at 15.
• Completes secondary education in post-war Europe.
• Supported by Jewish relief organizations.

1949–1953
• Immigrates to New York in 1949 (He saw Statue of Liberty for the first time).
• Enrolls in engineering college (CCNY or Columbia).
• Graduates in 1953, age 23.

1955
• Briefly meets 17-year-old Charles Xavier in New York, but forgot.

1956–1962
After graduation, he restarts his mission:
• Begins tracking former Nazis and collaborators.
• Erik narrows the search to Sebastian Shaw.
• Leading to X-Men: First Class (1962).

That's why he manage to help Hank and Charles to build Original Trilogy's Cerebro, to build anti-telepathic helmets (with Cerebro's knowledge) and build the Mutant Conversion Machine in X1.
What you guys opinions about this, if this could work? makes sense?

Headcanon - Phoenix in FoX-Men movies

Jean Grey didn't have the Phoenix Force, the cosmic entity, in Original Timeline. She just have a very powerful power. The reddish psychic energy manifestation is part of her full extent power.

In Original Timeline, Xavier created mental barriers to block her power when she was young, then a dark second personality called "Phoenix" was created (the personality chosen to be called ''Phoenix'' because the personality, which is Jean's full power, ''resurrected'' after getting blocked by Xavier's mental barriers).

The "phoenix" that appear in Alkali Lake in X2's ending is a telekinetic cocoon at the bottom of the lake, made by Phoenix personality, which takes in a form that resembles a phoenix.

In Revised Timeline, Xavier didn't create the barriers when she was young, so no dark second personality is created.

In X-Men: Apocalypse, Jean, as she accepts her powers to defeat Apocalypse, she absorved Apocalypse's pyrokinetic energy from his shields and blasting it all back at him, disintegrating, she uses her telepathy, using all the pyrokinetic energy absorved to form into a large phoenix around her, to represent her powers' rising to Apocalypse, so it's not the Phoenix Force.

In Revised Timeline, Jean gets contact with Phoenix Force itself in space, which amplified/enhance her already powers and give her more powers, this didn't happen in Original Timeline.

Headcanon - Where were the Sentinels in X-Men original trilogy?

After Bolivar Trask's death in 1973, Simon Trask (Trask from X-Men: The Last Stand), Bolivar Trask's half-brother, how was also his business partner, who was Co-CEO of Trask Industries, become full CEO of Trask Industries. Simon didn't like and trust William Stryker, he was just Bolivar Trask's friend, so Simon pushed him away, after Bolivar Trask's death, then William Stryker start to do his own things, like Adamantium project, Weapon X, etc. After Trask death, U.S. government decides to approve Sentinel Program, announcing the project publicly, but shortly after decides to not moved on/cancel, they thought it's too dangerous. Even thought, Trask Industries, in secret, continued work in developing the Sentinel Program, after they get Mystique captured, they get her DNA, after torturing and experimenting on her, but took long time to they finished the Sentinels, until 2013, less than 50 years, since 1973. Mystique manage to escape Trask Industries custody of her own in 1976 (she stayed 3 years in custody), but they already material enough to Sentinels program, Mystique didn't knew that what they did to her was to get use in Sentinels, she thought she was tortured by them for being a mutant and for having killed Bolivar Trask. After X3, which occured Battle of Alcatraz, with Magneto destroying Golden Gate Bridge, Jean Grey almost destroyed everybody, also the Mutant Cure caused tension, the cure later provided to be temporary, the tension between mutants and humans rise again, because of what happened in The Last Stand. Trask Industries finally manage to do the perfect Sentinels, they manage to enhance the DNA of Mystique, so they can put in Sentinels. So the idea of using Sentinels came up again by Simon Trask, who was during X-Men: The Last Stand, secretary/head of the Department of Homeland Security in 2006, so they announced and release the Sentinels, leading to 2023's dark future of DOFP. The robot that appeared in the training simulation of danger room in X3, was based on the prototypes of Sentinels, that are shown to public in 1973, after Bolivar Trask's death, when U.S. government announced the Sentinels.

The unbelievable happened
The appendix for some reason decided that the revised timeline is the "original" Earth-10005 and renumbering the established Earth-10005 as Earth-41578
So that essentially infers Logan is erased in Doomsday and Earth-17315 was once a possible future that now never comes to pass?

I mean I do know how time travel laws operate but it does get kinda confusing I have to admit
It's either
1. Time travel results in you traveling to a divergent timeline and the original one is erased
2. Time travel Marvel stories portray an ALREADY EXISTING divergent timeline as the "present" and the main timeline whatever story takes place in as the "past" that the "present" timeline guys try to avoid

Weirdly, it currently states:
Earth-10005
X-Men movie & sequels (2000)

Earth-18315
Variant Earth-10005. The scarred Weapon XI (Wade Wilson) was sent after the Wolverine (James Howlett) but moments after Wolverine recognized Weapon XI as Wilson, the time-traveling Deadpool-41633 appeared and murdered Weapon XI, diverging this reality from Earth-10005. Deadpool 2 movie (2018)

Earth-41578
Dystopian reality circa 2023 A.D., mutants and their human allies are rounded into camps. The surviving X-Men sent Wolverines mind back in time to his 1973 self to stop the Sentinels program. Logan and the 1973 X-Men stopped Mystique from assassinating Bolivar Trask, diverging this future from Earth-10005. X-Men: Days of Future Past movie (2014)

I think they're accidentally implying that Days of Future Past is a potential future of the Original Timeline while simultaneously saying the revised timeline is Earth-10005.

Boy, this is gonna take some getting used to mentally. Anyway, either Earth-18315 needs to be changed to a variant Earth-41578 or, I guess, Weapon XI and Wolverine apparently still fight at Three Mile Island in the revised timeline, circumstances changed or not.

They probably noticed that Deadpool and Wolverine referred to the timeline as 10005 and since it's stated by the TVA (THE multiversal authority) they know what they're doing and that it needs to be changed accordingly

I think the 18315 being a branch of "10005" is going to be re-contextualized on the appendix too.

My guess with that Weapon XI fight is that post-Apocalypse, a very similar event with Wade Wilson Sr. as I'll call him (not the son of his we know and love from the Deadpool films) occurs in the revised timeline. Wolverine returns to finish the job, so to speak, and Weapon XI is still created. Doesn't meant most of X-Men Origins happened again in the new timeline, just a way to show that Wade Sr. becomes Weapon XI no matter what.

Earth-17315 would have been the future of Earth-10005 if Doomsday didn't occur. Clearly it will end in Earth-10005's destruction, therefore, Earth-17315 becomes an erased future.

That will surely not sit with fans...

Also, Kidpool from D&W's reality is 66345.
Also the Appendix says her reality was destroyed. If her reality was destroyed, doesn't that mean the realities of the 2000s Marvel movies are also destroyed?😭

Also, it says the Kidpool in the comics that was based on the movie one is the movie version herself. That gives credence to the idea that some of the cameos in D&W could be the comic versions, like Age of Apocalypse and Old Man Logan etc.

I think it's just a bunch of offscreen X-Men variant branches.
