It doesn't have a year. Suppose it is set in the Alien timeline, I did do some thinking about that while ago.

Fitting right between Underwater and Marvel's Predator comics.

Honestly, anywhere from 2030 to 2060 sounds okay. It's very undefined.
 
Oh They made a new section for the novels... Tho they did one for Soldier, so it's till unclear.

BTW will the Wayland Industries Timeline be added as well?

maybe you could addd it to the viewing order and since it's an in-universe website, there's no need to place it in the proper timeline.

the last event in the timeline is in 2073, so ig that you could place it after last hunt #4

Maybe... but Peter Hyams including Con-Am in a bunch of things, to me, seems like it should be the same version of the company. Discounting any Alien connections here, of course. If you do, then only Outland is loosely connected and the rest are just tacked on.
 
I suppose you could place Outland in the 22nd century if you assume that FTL travel is an expensive commodity not to be wasted on blue collar miners within our Solar System. There's not much of a placement for it if you do that though... best guess is 2124 with that interpretation, since Outland released 2 years after Alien.
 
I've heard that Aliens and Alien³ recycled the computer sound effects/graphics from Outland too, but from two random threads and I don't remember where. Something to look for down the line.

I think the Con-Am thing could be dismissed as an in-joke such as with Val Verde.

So we go for the 2124 date? Okii I'll update my timeline as well to reflect this.
 
I wonder if the Nostromo DLCs from Alien: Isolation could be canon. Set the first one after Brett's death but before Dallas in the airlock (I've seen people say it's an alternate timeline, but how? It fits between events as far as I can tell), then the second can fit as concurrent to Ripley's escape... then there's the other DLCs with almost no narrative which are leading up to the start of the game.

Interesting...I've not played the DLC. I always thought they were just retellings of events in the movie.
