So, I'm going to take a guess that a good bit of us grew up in the 90s. I found this about a week ago and it really made me miss the 90s. Feel free to add more.

You're a 90's kid if:

You can finish this [ice ice _ _ _ _ ]

You remember watching:
-Doug
-Ren & Stimpy
-Pinky and the Brain
-AAAAAAAH Real Monsters!
-Rockos modern Life.

You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE!"

You just cant resist finishing this . . . "Iiiiiiin west philidelphia born and raised . . ."

You remember:
-TGIF
-Step by Step
-Family Matters
-Dinosaurs
-Boy Meets World.

You remember when it was actually worth getting up early
on a Saturday to watch cartoons.

You got super excited when it was Oregon Trail day in computer class at school.

You remember reading "Goosebumps"

You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school.

You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence . . . not

when everyhting was settled by:
-rock paper scissors or
-bubble gum bubble gum in a dish or
-daddy had a donkey inky binky bonky.

when cops and robbers was a daily activity.

when we played Hide and go seek until our legs grew numb.

when we used to obey our parents

You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record your FAVORITE song of ALL time.

Your clothes with cartoon characters sticking out made all the kids on the block jealous.

"Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?" was both a game and a TV game show.

Captain Planet. He's a Hero.

You knew that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the green ranger, were meant to be together. ???

You owned the Power Ranger toys.

You remember when Super Nintendos and Sega Genisis became popular.

You always wanted to send in a tape to America's Funniest Home Videos . . . but never taped anything funny.

You remember watching Home Alone 1, 2 , and 3 . . . and tried to pull the pranks on "intruders"

You remember that Polaroid cameras = instant pictures.

You remember watching:
-The Magic School Bus
-Wishbone
-Reading Rainbow on PBS.

You remember when Yo-Yos were cool.

You remember those Where's Waldo books.

You remember eating Warheads.

You remember watching:
-the 1st Batman
-Aladdin
-Ninja Turtles
-the little mermaid

You remember Ring Pops.

You remember falling asleep early at parties.

You remember drinking Surge, and Tang.

If you remember when every thing was "da BOMB!"

When they made the new lunchables so that you could make pizza AND tacos.

You would always want to play outside with your friends who lived in your neighborhood .. outside.

You remember boom boxes vs. cd players.

Making those little paper fortune cookie things, and then predicting your life with them.

You played and/or collected "Pogs" :)

You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet, or Nano and brought it everywhere.

. . . Furbies.

You haven't always had a computer, and it was cool to have the internet.

And Windows 95 was the best,
no matter how slow it was.

You watched the original cartoons of Rugrats, Power Rangers, and Ninja Turtles.

Michael Jordan was a king.

Your parents bought you a playground for the backyard.

YIKES pencils and erasers were the stuff!

All your school supplies were "Lisa Frank" brand.

You remember when the new Beanie Babies and Talking Elmo were always sold out

You collected those Beanie Babies.

Carebears

Gak was the coolest stuff invented.

Lambchop's song never ended.

The old dollar bills.

Silver dollars, which were cool to have.

You remember a time before the WB.

You collected all the Troll dolls

If you even know what an original walkman is.

You remember wanting to sit on the orange Nickelodeon couch.

You've gotten creeped out by "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"

You know the Macarena by heart.

"Talk to the hand" . . . enough said

You always said, "Then why don't you marry it!"

You went to McDonald's to play in the playplace.

You remember playing on merry go rounds at the playground.

Before the MySpace frenzy . . .

Before the Internet & text messaging . . .

Before Sidekicks & iPods . . .

Before MIKE JONES . . .

Before PlayStation2 or X-BOX . . .

Before Spongebob . . .

Back when you put off the 5 hours of homework you had every night.

Man, you didn't even have homework.

When light up sneakers were cool.

When you would watch IT and be scared of clowns.

When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs.

When gas was $0.95 a gallon & Caller ID was a new thing.

When we recorded stuff on VCRs.

When we called the radio station to request songs to hear off of our walkman.

When checking out drawing books and that one book about the rainbow fish from the library was THE cool thing to do.

You had slap braclets!

I will never, ever declare allegiance to any decade that isn't the 80s (which a few of those are actually from), but I have to say I have some pretty fond memories of most of that stuff. Slap bracelets!

Oregon Trail. . . I actually got that for home. When we finally got a computer. Before we had the internet.

Ah, nostalgia... it's sad that I deleted everything I didn't recognize and this is still huge.

Yeah, Planet-man, just after the turn of the century I started watching Toonami after school. I blame poorly animated anime for the headaches I get ever now and then.

Does anyone else remember that X-men cartoon? Not Evolution, the other one, where they looked like they did in the comic book.

Damn, I'm one of the biggest 90s kid alright. I remember just about everything on that list!!

Man, back in the good ol' days with the old school Power Rangers and all. That was like the only thing all the guys talked about when I was in 2nd grade. And when I got to see an episode no one had the chance to see yet, I felt like the big man on campus when everyone looked to me to hear what happened.

Yeah, I noticed that some of the stuff was from the 80s, but I was too lazy to edit it.

I liked the 80s, but since I was only alive for 4 years of it, its more of a retro appreciation of it. The 90s, though, I remember damn near everything.

Not just the X-men cartoon, but the Spider-man one as well. Ah, good times. . .

Mighty Morphin' was the best. I actually stopped watching shortly after the first movie, with Ivan Ooze. But, I know what you mean. I remember bringing in my Dragonzord for show and tell in Second Grade and people were awed by it, since it was pretty much sold out everywhere.

I'm actually coming around to the idea that if I had the chance to go back to any decade, purely for material reasons, I'd return to the nineties. Why?

- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles EVERYWHERE

- Batman: The Animated Series EVERYWHERE

- Spider-Man: The Animated Series EVERYWHERE

and then there's other stuff...

- Lois & Clark was still on.

- Beverly Hills 90210 (a very guilty pleasure of mine) was still on.

I also kind of like some of the fashions that were around, particularly in the late nineties. It was just kind of 'normal'. Today's fashions are out of control. You're either an emo or...an emo.

Ivan Ooze scared the living **** out of me when I first saw that movie. I stopped watching 'Rangers soon after Zeo started because it wasn't on any of my channels anymore. By the time it was, I was too old.

He was a scary SOB. Although, I remember laughing for a good couple of minutes when I found out that actor who played him also played Rene Belloq in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

This just summed up most of my childhood.

(Also, my dad confessed to hating Power Rangers, but he did love Ivan Ooze in the movie.)

I am not a "90s" kid. I was born in the 90's though. That doesn't mean that I get all annoyingly nostalgic about stupid trends that I never paid attention to.

i was born in 89, and i spent the better amount of my formative years soaking up 90's culture (thats why i do like alot of 90's comic characters)

Darkwing Duck was the greatest cartoon ever made. Better than Batman:TAS, better than any Transformers series, better than JLU. The only thing that comes even close is the Green Lantern episode of Suck Dodgers.

I hate you all. I hate you and your dumb ramblings about a decade that passed. The 90's are over. Nostalgia is the feeling that one gets when they realize that their life sucks and things used to be better. Bah.

In west Philadelphia, born and raised. On the playground is where I spent most of my days. Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' on coolin' on shootin' some b-ball outside of school - when a couple of guys who were up to no good, started making trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said "You're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air" (and here's where it gets foggy for me). The taxi cab came up and when it pulled near the license plate said FRESH and there were dice in the mirror. If anything, I could say that this cab was rare. But I thought "Nah, forget it. You homes, to Bel-Air."

Edit: And how could I forget this?

I pulled up to the house around 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabbie, "Yo homes. Smell ya later!" I looked at my kingdom, I was finally there. to sit on my throne, as the Prince of Bel-Air.

Born in 87, so when this all started up, I was conscious enough to remember it!! Woo!

Same here. I think 1989 is one of the best years to be born ever. Get to say you were alive in the 80s, concious enough to remember the 90s, not old enough to be too old for some of the later trends like Pokemon.

And if I could pick any decade close to the 90s in greatness, hands down the 80s.
