Why can't Earth 97 exist anyways?

I need an example of the same location appearing in the different films. Gotham is a fictional city. They used miniatures and huge sets to make it. I don't think we can simply say that they're the same location when all we're told is that they're both Gotham City. Once again though, it's a fictional city. I'm still not convinced how neon signs in one place invalidate the existence of the previous films.
How about this, then. Batman Forever IS a sequel to Batman Returns. That's an objective fact. He's even dealing with how he used to be a murderer in it, which is far more explicit in the deleted scenes.
Earth-97 was a joke made about the fact that realities are named after their first appearance and Mr. Freeze first appeared in Batman & Robin. 1997 = Earth-97. A joke... if you take that seriously, they're literally saying that Batman & Robin's reality started in 1997. That means that Batman Forever isn't canon to Batman & Robin. That's completely false though. In another case, and this doesn't really make sense either, you could say that a Mr. Freeze variant that looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger exists in Earth-97 even though the one from Batman & Robin would be Earth-89.
Why can't a joke be considered canon though?

Because they said it was canon to Earth-89 seriously. Plus, you're ignoring that that implies that Batman Forever isn't canon to Earth-97.

Earth-97, in the joke, refers to the release date of when said actor appeared. The same joke could have been made about Gus Gorman coming from Earth-83 because Superman III came out in 1983. The only reason you would have to use such a silly joke is if the universe that it originates from isn't designated. Batman & Robin comes from the Burtonverse as it's the fourth installment of the Batman film series, and we know it absolutely was intended to be set in that universe due to the actors, the costumes, the references, the behind-the-scenes and the planned sequels.

I feel like that's like asking an atheist "why can't God be real?" I have no idea how to answer a question like that. (Not attacking religions BTW, just that you can't really convince someone of something by asking why it can't exist.)
"Why can't this thing I made up be canon?" Well... it could. It's not though. In theory, Iron Man 3 could be a different universe to Iron Man and Iron Man 2 if you ignore the fact that they're sequels and have already been designated. If some Marvel guy made a joke about Iron Man being Earth-2008, you'd be asking why can't that be canon, and once again, I'd make the argument that it's a joke and part of an existing universe already, and you'd respond with the argument that we could ignore all that and follow the joke.
In any case, Crisis Aftermath acknowledges that 1995-1997 are Earth-89, and jokes that Arnold's Mr. Freeze comes from Earth-97. If we're using your source, we have to acknowledge everything in it. Since they confirmed it's set in Earth-89 as well, then we work with that.

Unrelated to this thread, I think Birds of Prey (TV Show) and Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman fit in the same world tbh.
(Maybe 2011 Wonder Woman and the 1997 JLA pilot too in that secondary 90s/2000s TV universe)

If the Burtonverse and Donnerverse merged Post-Crisis to Earth-96/Earth-789, is it possible that Earth-66 and Earth-76 merged to Earth-66 post-crisis? That could explain the crossover Comic, rather than have it only in one of the continuities

This is because Earth-97 was inherently non-canon and was always just a unofficial number based on release dates, and that there's two different universes with the events of Batman 1989-1992, and only one of them are canon with Superman (1978-2006) while the other was pretty much confirmed to be Earth-89 to begin with.
2. It's always possible that Earth-66 and Earth-76 did merge, I agree with that.

Supergirl, Superman IV and Batman '89 were filmed in England. Superman III was shot in Alberta and Superman Returns in Australia. Meanwile Human Target is set in San Francisco but filmed in Vancouver, Canada, as were the Arrowverse shows etc.

I wonder if a new Catwoman is chosen based on decades (like, once every 17 years for example) or with the death of the previous Catwoman (Selina died in the non-canonical Birds of Prey show). In any case, the comic should probably take place between 2000-2010.

If I did, I'd probably have to do an Earth-203 Birds of Prey timeline too. There's way more linking Earth-203 than Earth-L&C.
-Same Arkham Asylum.
-Same Batsuit.
-Same Batgirl suit (different character though).
-Same Catwoman suit.
-The teaser used footage from Batman 1989-1992.
-The TV guide for the series had an apparition of Keaton's Batman and Pfeiffer's Catwoman.
Though, I'd note that on Earth-203, Bruce went through Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake and Barbara Gordon as sidekicks. Also, that definitely ain't Jack Nicholson.
I can't remember there being any years but I'd default to 2002-2003. That'd place the Batman/Catwoman timeline a lot further back than in the Burtonverse.
