i mean im pretty sure its just another word for "issue", with each new number representing another days newspaper, for example: in superman, the paper with the story about the hammer of boravia dated may 19 is edition number 60,002, while the paper dated may 24 that the robot is reading at the end of the movie is edition number 60,007

there weren't any concrete timeline indicators (aside from maybe an extremely quick shot of a computer monitor at the very opening scene set during a montage, so not super reliable anyway); going by clark being 30 in 2025, we can assume krypton exploded in 1995 with kara being born around 8 years later in 2003, and it seems like she arrived on earth around late 2022, between when clark reveals himself as superman and when she is part of the team in peacemaker, so this movie must be in 2026 if she is turning 23

kara definitely says it was 8 years after krypton explodes when she was born, the rest of the flashbacks are presented with no direct mentions of the passing of time; when she arrives on earth kal already has a suit and explains that the bright colors are so people know they are the good guys, which leads me to believe he has already been known to the public by this point

really unfortunately i think that has to be the case, if supergirl is set in 2026 (which we dont actually definitively know) and shes turning 23; id love to be able to fudge the numbers somehow to try to make a feb 1996 date work for kals birthday

either she would have to have been born very late 2003, meaning she was rounding up to 8 from 7 and change when referring to her past, or this film would have to be set in late 2025

I think Gunn said Lanterns is set before Supergirl. That might have changed.

All I know is there is high school football practice in the trailers, which occurs in the Fall, so might be October 2026.
