I thought he was the most common choice? I would be surprised if a lot of people didn't have him in mind.

Nice cast Disorder. Paul Dano as Arseface is pretty funny (he already looks like an arseface).

Here's my cursory cast.

Dominic West as Jesse Custer. I think he'd be great, and I think there's a certain symmetry in having a British guy play the hero of an Irishman's take on the Western. Besides, this guy is just fantastic. And he has HBO series experience.
Clive Owen as Cassidy. Ditto English guy playing the Irishman's role.
Jennifer Connelly as Tulip O'Hare. I'm lukewarm on this. I wanted Naomi Watts. I considered Juliette Lewis, but I just don't know if she has the chops.
Patrick Stewart as Herr Starr. I'd really love for Patrick Stewart to get the opportunity to just be crude and really milk Ennis' outrageous humor. We already know he's a Spider Jerusalem fan.
Paul Savini as Arseface. The kid in the costume doesn't matter. What does is that you get Savini for effects.
R. Lee Ermy as Hugo Root
Mickey Rourke as The Duke.

Cillian Murphy as Jessie Custer

He works for me. There has been a ****load of good choices for him this round, it's hard to top any of them.

Mira Sorvino as Tulip O'Hare

I don't know it anyone here has seen the Last Templar, but she was hot in that film. She played a strong woman well.

Jason Statham as Cassidy

Dr.Strangefate took my Cassidy, that whore.

Bruce Willis as Herr Starr

Haven't read enough Preacher to really encounter this character, I'm only on the second volume. The little exposure I have had, I've liked though. This has nothing to do with the choice of Bruce Willis though. I just like Bruce Willis.

Clint Eastwood as the Saint of Killers

Obvious, but hardly workable choice. I mean, the guy won't do it, but this is dreamcasting, right?

Micheal Cera as Arseface

This is basically insert generic teenage actor here people. Enjoy.

Disorder, I think Timothy Olyphant is damn near perfect for Custer. Good call. Houde, Cillian Murphy? I think he'd be better off as Cassidy (the Irish thing) myself but whatever floats your boat. At any rate, I can't argue with Clint Eastwood as the Saint of Killers, even though he probably wouldn't do it. I'm going to try to go out of the box a little for this one, but I'm sick so I have plenty of time on my hands right now.

Yeah, I know he's not the best choice, but my original choice was taken, and I wanted someone different than everyone else.

Hence my choice.
