Cue the theme to CSI: Miami, "Won't Get Fooled Again" by The Who... Because nobody asked for it! Because I suggested it to VVD! Because VVD demanded I make it real! The first ever Dreamcasting SPIN OFF! Enter Dreamcasting: The Remake Edition!
In this spin-off of Dreamcasting, no comic properties are used. Instead moderators take existing Hollywood properties --- box office bombs, long-defunct TV franchises and classic films --- and put them for a remake to get recast!
The Carusobot Shades of Justice Will Find YOUUuuuuuuuuuu!!!
The rules are largely identical to The Original Dreamcasting, (heretofore referred to as Dreamcasting: Las Vegas, or Dreamcasting: The Original Series).
1) The winner of the last round becomes the moderator of the round, and thus gets to choose the property or story in question to be adapted. Winner may also declare whether this property is an animated film, or a live-action one. He must also name the core characters to be cast, which should be at least 4, but no more than 9.
2) Participants may not use actors who have played the role before in the same medium before. Voice talents may not reprise their role, nor can film/TV ones.
3) After the time period set by the moderator, the round is declared closed. People will vote via PM and send it to the moderator, who will count the votes and declare winner. Like the Ultimatization Game, you CANNOT vote for yourself. REMINDER: Moderators don't vote either.
4) The winner declared gets to choose the property in the next round.
For this round, you must cast:
THE ADDAMS FAMILY
Gomez Alonzo Addams, charismatic gentleman with a child-like excitability.
Morticia Frump-Addams, elegant vamp with artistic tendencies
Wednesday Friday Addams, cheerfully morbid elder sister.
Pugsley Addams, the nigh-invulnerable mechanically savvy younger brother
Uncle Fester Frump, devilishly mischievous uncle with an electrical charge
Eudora "Granny" Addams, slightly spazzy dabbler of the arcane
Thing, disembodied 'right hand man' er 'right hand' to Gomez Addams
Lurch, shambling groaning butler with the 'heart' of an Addams
Round ends at May 26 4PM GMT.
