Its comin. And from the sounds of the Newsarama blurb on it it'll be more in line with the Vertigo Minis than the current series. Now I liked the Vertigo books, a little less than the current and the original, but still a whole lot more than the HEX series. Supernatural Westerns are in short supply so i hope this goes well.

Now I've got to see Crank to see if my boy Jonah's in safe hands though.

Man, ever since studying the Western genre is Media Studies I've been thinking about how cool a new Western movie could be. Tarantino has me excited with his plans for a "Southern" and this is like icing on the cake.

Will Thomas Jane play the DC character? Directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor told The Movie Blog that the answer ... is no. "We're excited about looking for the lead," Neveldine said. "We have some options for Jonah Hex."

Taylor said, "We had never brought his name up, he's great, we like him ... We don't see the guy as Jonah Hex, to be quite honest with you. But we like him. We're totally stoked that he would do that, it's so awesome."
