Surely Iron Man 3 has to be December 2012 because there’d be no other way for S.H.I.E.L.D. to know what Extremis is in the earlier episodes of AoS? Centipede is also an updated version of Extremis to fix the exploding problem as well as generally improve it, so it would have to be December 2012, not 2013

this was the fan consensus for a long while until the timeline book came out, which confirms a 2013 placement, following the dark world; i personally agree 2012 works better

The timeline book has... questionable placements, IMO. That would also be disregarding AoS, the only piece of evidence solidifying Iron Man 3 as 2012

Marvel also has incorrectly placed the Defenders shows (they should be winter 2015 as opposed to... not Winter) so I wouldn't take Marvel's placements as fact. It seems to be the work of a few people who place it whenever, which then gets the seal of approval after people high up in Marvel skim-read it

Some of those are... questionable canon. For example, this is literally just a Burger King ad promoting the new collab, definitely not canon. It even uses footage from the first film, in places they definitely shouldn't be, so unless you wanna say Iron Man flying in the cloudless sky suddenly flew into clouds and then did some manoeuvre that would only be necessary if he was doing what he was doing from that scene in the movie...

thoughts on simons “origins”

- wonder man opens december 1990; simons dad will see it “around simons age” (from the scene of them seeing it as a rerun); lets assume simon is around 12 here, so lets say his dad was around 12-14
- wonder man is shown as a rerun, viewed by simon and his dad; assuming simon was born around 6-7 years after 1990, wouldnt that place this around 2009 if simon is around 12? this could also be a screening of wonder man due to the appearance of tony stark the year prior and the oncoming wave of real-life superhero popularity, although this is a bit of a stretch
- i can only assume then that would make simon around 21 in the doorman flashback episode, making him around 29 in the current day, meaning i’m assuming he wasnt blipped

my proposed flashbacks timeline:
- december 1990 - wonder man first opens, simons dad sees it when hes a young boy, hed be around 12-14 (not an actual scene from the show, implied through dialogue and the poster for the show with the ticket)
- ~2009 - wonder man screening with young simon and his dad, would have to be around this year as simons older brother eric is born, then him, then enough time for him to be around 12
- 2018 - doorman clause implemented, younger simon now forced to hide his powers from here forward

Why would the original Wonder Man release in 1990? As opposed to 1980

No, pretty sure it is. At least, across the Multiverse Tree. Personally, I feel as though there’s one multiverse tree containing both universes and timelines (you can see there’s numerous “strands” forming the trunk of the tree, which would be numerous universes IMO) but either way the Quantum Realm is shared across a multiverse tree. It’s used to travel to other timelines, and is shown to be kinda outside time anyway

Frozen 1 came out in 2013 and beauty and the beast live action came out in march 2017 so it would have to be awhile after the first frozen but not sure about the sequel? When did that come out
