Mass Effect 3

For the future Mass Effects, I'd put exploration as the big story. Not just of space, but of the new "biological order". There's so much more they can do with the ME universe.

I'd like to see something of a fusion of Mass Effect and Dragon Age Origins, where you're the newest Sectre for your race. Have it set 10-15 years after ME3, you've got Shepard's legend starting to grow, remnants of groups like Cerberus, maybe even play up the pirates more (since they were only a mention in ME1).

Seriously, there's so many directions you can take it.

Mass Effect 3: Citadel - Single Player DLC

When a sinister conspiracy targets Commander Shepard, you and your team must uncover the truth, through battles and intrigue that range from the glamour of the Citadel's Wards to the top-secret Council Archives. Uncover the truth and fight alongside your squad - as well as the cast from the original Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, including Urdnot Wrex!

When the adventure is over, reconnect with your favorite characters from the Mass Effect Trilogy, try your luck at the Citadel's Silver Coast Casino, blow off steam in the Armax Combat Arena, or explore and furnish Shepard's own living quarters on the Citadel. With unique content and cinematics featuring your friends and romance interests in the Mass Effect trilogy, Mass Effect 3: Citadel offers one final chance to see the characters you have known for years and rekindle romances.

Mass Effect 3: Citadel will release worldwide on March 5th on Xbox 360, PC and PS3 (on March 6th on PS3 in Europe). Price: $14.99, 1200MS points and 1200 BW points.

Awesome. Most of the ME3 Single Player DLC has been pretty lackluster (Leviathan was quite good and actually helped fix some of the plot holes of the original ending), but this sounds fantastic. First of all, the ability to recruit and use ALL of the ME1, ME2, or ME3 characters (well, the ones who've survived to that point anyway) alone has me sold. It's also supposed to be quite a large download, requiring two separate downloads due to the Xbox Live size limit on downloads (PSN and PC don't have this problem), but it goes a long way in showing how extensive this DLC should be. Granted a lot of that may be due to the various characters and their dialogue, powers, etc, but I'm hoping it implies a moderately extensive addition to the gameplay time.

From the details released, and the bringing in of ME1 and ME2 characters, this certainly sounds like a worthy swan song for the last DLC for ME3. Looking forward to this for sure.
