See, I didn't have a real problem with the UFF that Millar wrote, only that it was out of continuity or common sense. Time travel taken so lightly is what makes the 616 universe the 616 universe. Why can't something like that have consequences?

I agree in a sense. But again, with the FF or UFF, a certain light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek tone is required, especially in light of all the crazy, sciency stuff they do (dimension hopping, time-travel, etc). I understand it kind of flies in the face of the more realistic approach of the early Ultimate universe (the past few years have thrown that out the window), but I was ok with it in the UFF title (since that was sort of the point) and Millar's writing was always at the very least a fun ride.
