Ha, It's funny this got bumped I saw this just last week for the first time. I LOVE this movie and can't wait for sequel

Brad Pitt voiced him in the first one and is already in negotiations.

It could have been but I was almost positive that was Pitt voicing him. And it would make sense seeing as Pitt and Ritchie have worked together before on quirky characters.
 
according to imdb, some guy named Ed Tolputt played Moriarty/Anonymous Man in Sherlock Holmes.

although that doesn't mean someone else didn't voice the character.
 
I can't picture Daniel DAy Lewis doing this. and if he did he would make every other actor in it his *****. except for possibly RDJ. nah, I don't think DDL would fit.
 
I'd like Oldman to be Moriarty. DDL would be a close second.


With that said, a part of me would be utterly fascinated with a Javier Bardem cast Moriarty.
 
Oldman seems like the only one of those four who would accept.
 
Stephen Fry is playing Mycroft Holmes in the sequel.

He is one of the best characters. Great choice.
 
He was also in FRINGE, THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON, but most importantly, MR. DEEDS.
