Yeah, but ask yourself if we really wanna get into adding the View Askewniverse into the Slasherverse, when we've drawn the line at The Goldbergs' episode with Freddy Krueger since it would open up a ton of shitty-ass comedies being added, including... ugh, fucking Jack and Jill.See, going with that, it kinda defeats the whole purpose.
I mean personally I'd put the WWE crossovers (alongside the WCW one which had been built up for like 2 months with some light tickery and the iconic laugh randomly happening) AND the Joe Bob Briggs Monstervision deal with him in too (which I guess was filmed same day as Chucky's part of that WCW segment)I mean, the Chucky TV series has those segments in the Real World where he's hosting his own show, so I guess it ain't out of the question?
Pretty sure it was Bride of Chucky. Got a screenshot?Iirc in Bride/Seed of Chucky (whichever one had all the horror props at the start) there's a wanted poster for Pennywise, specifically the 1990 miniseries of IT, so I guess you could add that
I've posted a screenshot of the Easter egg, and I'm pretty sure it's a "Pennywise Wanted" poster since it's actually on the wall, not just rolled up (as an example, though there are other methods of storing posters they could've used if they only wanted to store it as evidence). It could imply that after the events of IT, he gained enough popularity as an urban legend police started looking into it as someone dressed as a clown (not looking into him as an… alien? I haven't seen either IT adaptations or read the novel, so I'm not confident on Pennywise's origins)
Is this confirming or denying IT's connection? I'm terrible at deciding which interpretation was intended, when I can see multiple onesI struggle to believe it unless I see it.
I sent a screenshot, with the reference circled?I'm denying that there was an IT connection unless proven otherwise.
Actually, on closer inspection of said screenshot, the clown looks like Ronald McDonald more than anything (though that could just be down to lighting if you really wanted to get IT in there)I sent a screenshot, with the reference circled?
My eyes can not confirm that the shape in the circle is a wanted poster of Pennywise, and unless I see it clearly I don't think it should be counted. From a quick Google search, it appears that people believe that a wanted poster can actually be found in a city alley, not in the evidence lockup.
It just looks like pixels.
I also don't see anything in the screenshotView attachment 3594
I've drawn over where (I believe) Pennywise's face is on that poster. It's done terribly as I'm using my finger on a phone screen, but it should be comparable with the other screenshot to show where his face is
